Latest eBay find showed up today. Probably overpaid for it, based on condition, but I love these purple bone covers.

Beauty, Tom!

Just arrived today. [
Camillus scout/camp knife]
It'll be a good one to carry in the summer when you might get thirsty on hot days. Multi-tools and SAKs also have bottle openers but Camillus 440A holds an edge longer than what ever Victorinox uses and most multi-tools are too square cornered and chunky for a front pants pocket. Also, I seldom use most of the tools in multi-tools because full size tools aren't far away at home or in my trunk. What we all carried to elementary school still works.

I was wondering what the blade steel might be. Thanks for the info!

That looks like a knife from Hellize, he is a member here. He uses dear tracks as a logo. Google that name and you can find many knives made by him. If that is from him, then it’s an all hand forged and hand made knife. He makes great knives.

His deer track mark has dew claws and so like a cross in the center. Has hoped it might be one of his unfortunately the marks not right. Thanks for the thought

We had another member Tony Wood who made a few knives and used that deer foot mark. He left the USofA and became a missionary but I can't remember where.

Camillus Camp/Scout knife arrived yesterday despite a Mail Hold that we had in place. My neighbor had me sweating bullets because she said the package was rain soaked but fortunately, the knife and box are not damaged.
Purchased from Sanders Knives in the AAPK store.
The 100 year sticker on the box dates the knife right at 1976.

Former members of another member's herd. This nice sturdy hawk will complete a hawk display I have, and this skinner is a hoss. Built like a tank, these integral bolsters give this knife a great feel in the hand. They're a hallmark of the maker, whom is known for high quality kitchen cutlery. I like skinners in that they cross the line between fixed blade and kitchen knife, especially with nice sheaths like this one. Thanks again J O

One more to post here. Got these a few days back from Steve (LKSKnives). The celluloid on the right was what I purchased. The others were surprise guests. Couldn't be happier with the old Fox cutlery with the lovely cell. The HSB is an experienced knife, but the ebony is still fantastic. The Queen likewise has some tales to tell, but it's a great knife. Happy to have them all, happy to once again conduct some business with Steve. His father took great care of his collection, and Steve takes care of his customers. Thanks again dude

You are very welcome Zach,
I remember the x marks the spot knife was definitely well used. Figured both that and the queen would see more use. That is a good thing.
Nice to see a picture of them. I will keep you in mind when I dig up more knives. How did the other Fox fair after the inside rain storm.
