Beautiful knife FFF, love the scout. That one oozes character and life.

Just got this from Glennbad's bench, seemed like a thread it fit.

Yes indeed...that is a gorgeous knife, Ivoryman. Great work as always from Glenn. He clearly knows your taste.

This is my only Utica. Although I don't own very many, it is my favorite OTC* vintage knife.

Dang Q, that's a real looker. Love the way the jigging runs right up to the bolster. Fine looking knife!

Beautiful knife ! I own a few Case but Iโ€™m not their biggest fan. I prefer Camillus, Queen, Utica and other vintage American made knives.

Sweet old knives on this page. Utica is often overlooked, and I think they're still making knives in the USA. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฒ

Thanks, I traded for this knife at a flea market in MtPleasant Iowa about 35 years ago. He said he got it at a Harper McIntire ware house in Ottumwa Iowa.

Beautiful knives you all have posted. Here is an old Utica jack I have. Not sure of its age, but I like it quite a bit. I always appreciate when the nail nick on the main is forward on the blade, makes it easier to access and leverage open. Nice feature.

Picked up this tiny Utica the other day. It appears the bolsters and liners (one piece) are nickel silver, they're not attracted to a magnet, and they shined up quick with Mothers Mag.
Like Mike I have no clue as to the age of this little knife.
2" Utica with a shackle/bail.

The reason for the tiny knife is to try and fill one of the 38, 2" slots in an old printer's tray/drawer that Miss Joy got for me a year or so ago. Got around to mounting it on the wall by my work desk. Stuck some of my excess knives in it, a few good ones and mostly just shallow end eBay pickups.

An affordable, worthwhile tiny pocketknife is not the easiest knife to find. ::shrug:: Several I have found described as 2 inches end up measuring 2 inches plus a tad and won't fit the tiny little slots. :(

I love that display Philip, really cool. And all the different size slots give you another excuse to acquire more knives, outstanding. I have handled those old printers trays before, they are pretty hefty, how did you secure it to rhe wall?
Nice little Utica too by the way, probably meant for a Keychain with that bail on there I would imagine.

Mike,
Thanks for the compliments.
The bottom left hand corner is resting on the built in desk top and it is attached to a stud at two points with screws, one near the top, the other about 6 inches from bottom. Probably one screw at the top would be sufficient as the weight is on the desk and all the attachment to the wall does is keeps it from falling over. :)

Added another curved frame sheepsfoot jack today, this one is an early arched stamp Utica, 3 1/4" with the UTK Warranted stamp on rear of main. The blade shape is unique, almost looks like a cross between a sheepsfoot and a wharncliffe.
