The only question is, who needs a glass cutter?

This is one of the most cheaply constructed knives I have seen in an old knife. The handles are hollow shell handles. The blade steel is soft, you can actually bend the blade at the tip and then back again with out it breaking off The imitation tortoise shell inlay is paper thin, the blades hit one another when closing, very poor quality

Here is an old Office knife. One of the blades is an beautiful upswept skinning blade with an amazing swedge ...wish my pics had caught it better. Dont know much about the stamp. Any info welcome. thanks: "Brown Treacy & Co. St. Paul" on the front side ricassos of both blades and "Prussia" on the backsides.

Here is another old one. The ricasso stamp is plainly visible with my jewelers loupe but I couldnt get a good photo ....sorry. Stamp is "Standard Cut. Co. Meriden". Any info welcome. Thanks. Bob

Last one for today. Old "Fairmount Cutlery" I really like these cuz many of them had the fileworked backsprings which really highlight a knife. This one happens to have really nice lightly used blades and the main has a beautiful swedge. Bob

Thanks Wullie I got into a vintage knife phase and picked them up on ebay. I'm not sure if they are all legit. The two Valley forge are suspect first one looks rehandled and the second one I think has been rebladed. I've learned a lot here since I've been lurking here.

Thanks Knifegirl my current addiction is new Schatt Morgans. I would like to see them make this knife next year in their Heritage series. I added a couple more pics it has a few cracks in the bone and pitting on the blade.
