Here is a Rare one, or atleast it is to me. I don`t recall ever seeing another with this tang stamp. It is pretty obvious who made this knife But I will let you guess who made it for now

I like the unusual tang stamped knives and this is as unusual as it gets for a Scout knife.

Does anyone else have a knife stamped Buffalo Cut. Co.? If so I would like to see it.

Here are two scouts I picked up this weekend at a flea market.

Here is an Imperial. This is a nice Ulster. It took me 2 hours or more to clean the paint, tar, drywall mud and other unidentified substances off of it. It has tang stamps on all blades but the punch. According to LT, this is a pre-WW II Ulster, made before Albert Baer bought the company from Dwight Divine's sons. I was suprised by what nice condition it was in once I cleaned the gunk off. Think it was worth the effort?

I really don't collect Scout knives. I may put them in my store eventually, but that Ulster is sooo nice and the spear blade is so full that I just may keep it. It feels so good in the hand I am half tempted to carry it.

Here are two Remington RS4783 official Boy Scout knives. For some reason Remington made two variations of this knife, apparently simultaniously, (c1934-1939). One version had the spear blade and the screwdriver/cap lifter blade on the same end, with the spear blade located in the rear on its own spring. The other version has the spear blade and the can opener blade on the same end. On this knife the main spear blade is in front and the can opener blade is in the rear. Both versions are shown in Ed Holbrook's book "Official Scout Blades".

Thanks Dimitri! Forgot to say that the Case Junior Scout I posted is an official BSA "100 Years of Scouting" model with red stag handles.

Here is something a little different than just knives for the Scout thread.

Very cool stuff here! Here's a Scout or Camping knife Charlie (Upnorth) sent me a few years ago.
Not an expensive knife, all plastic handles, Colonial brand Forest Master. But a very well made and very functional knife still.
