Here is a Terrier cattle knife I recently acquired. Not in great cosmetic condition but these are hard to find let alone in high grade or pristine condition like many Charlie has. This one is pattern No. 235632 or Robeson pattern No. 632235. It has the Terrier Bull head stamp on the pile side spear blade tang. I measure it to be 3 & 5/8 inches closed. The handles are some kind of plastic composite. There is a split in the pile side handle at the bottom from the front bolster running about 3/4 of an inch but both handles are firmly attached with no warping. There is some blade and punch loss. Overall I am happy with it and being 106 to 112 years old this is a great antique very scarce folder from a premier maker

That handle material, Lloyd, is considered to be an early form of Micarta.

I wish Roger had shown me that knife in Lexington in August.

Thanks Ike and Charlie. I have everything put away Ike. We are waiting on hurricane Ian to pass, once all that is over with I will get it out and measure. I don’t know if Roger had that in Lexington Charlie? Thanks again for the comments.

Pretty sure he didn’t, as I specifically asked if he had any Terriers.

Still, I can wish he had shown it to me.

There is a big English one blade jack from ghis company for auction on Ebay.

Not great, but ghey are hard to find.

It would be a downgrade for me, so I’m not interested.

At the Lexington show alone this weekend, as Sarah could not come, so I’m pretty much stuck at my table.

This morning I was walking around before the show opened and this was the only knife I picked up.

A Terrier Cutlery marked candle-end Serpentine Lobster with brown worm-grooved bone handles.

Pattern number 273 / 622

3” long.

Unfortunately, the portion of the spring that effects the master spear is shot.

But, it will display well.

And it was priced accordingly.

Charlie, nice way to start the show with a Terrier Lobster! It certainly will display well. Good luck at the show—hope you sell a bunch of knives

Two recent Terrier acquisitions:

The serpentine junior stockman,I bought through a Facebook posting by George Leray.

It’s 3 1/4” long.

Marked TERRIER CUTLERY on all three blades.

No pattern number and no dog’s head.

The pearl handled knife, I got, along with two other pearl handled knives, in a recent Bruce Voyles auction.

I picked them up from him at the Pigeon Forge Show.

Paid $121.00 for all and quickly sold the other two, an Empire and a Shapleigh, for $85.00, so I’m only into this Terrier for $36.00.

It’s 3 1/16” long.

Original spring in the scissors, I think.

All blades marked TERRIER CUTLERY.

Pattern number 446 / 722, as far as I can discern.

There is a dog’s head on the back of the spear blade.

That little secondary pen is about used up.

Two interesting Terrier knives, I think.

Sorry to butt in but I noticed a punch blade on a Terrier knife that looked like one of my Jack Knife Ben knives. Any chance that Terrier made it.

It would more than likely have been Robeson, as that’s who made the Terriers.

I’ve probably had this 11 3/4” Terrier cleaver for thirty years, but it disappeared in one of Sarah’s cleaning forays.

I found it today in a storage box in the basement while searching for something else.
