This little Case doesn't usually work the night shift.
Of course, the Buck steps in for the heavy lifting ....

Inexpensive maybe, totally cool definitely! ::tu:: I like the unusual clip blade and engraving on this one Garry, not to mention the nice bright yellow! 8)

I see the yellow tint. Unfortunately the handle is white, but as I look at it maybe it is on the edge of yellow. Lighting and lenses can create a distorted impression especially if the photographer (moi) is clueless. :)

Perhaps it's just how it looks on my screen, which is banana yellow. Yellow/white, who cares, it's a good lookn' user! 8)

Thank you, David. For some reason I believe it was made between 1965 & 1975. Maybe the seller told me that. It’s been a struggle lately to see if it or a Case #6392 gets in my pocket. That’s the kind of struggle I can live with.

Your 92 that I have seen is hard to beat but that Boker is a mighty fine piece of cutlery. You got a few pockets, no sense in struggling, carry both of them dandies!! :)

Here is my little Buck 505 which I bought around 1970 and, as you can see, I have used it it extensively over the years. It still locks up solid and has snap when closing it. The second knife is a Buck USA linerlock which I bought last week. I an anxious to see if it performs as well as the 505.... although I won't live long enough to give it 50 years of use :D .

You can't go wrong with a Buck! I have had several different models for years and got lot's of hard use out them. Great knives! ::handshake:: Thanks for the post.

Looking at some of the Camillus knives being posted got me looking through my old knife boxes and pulling out some of them and getting a few back in my pockets, on my belt and back to work! Today I have a 72, a 14 and a 41. The 41 fits nicely in the "5th Pocket".

Nice! I have the 75, which appears to be on the same frame as the 41. It too, despite being a Cattle Knife, is a very fifth-pocket friendly knife.

Thanks woodwalker. They are both relatively new to me & I usually lay one down when I pick up the other. But, sometimes I end up with both, & several more in my jeans. My wife gets a chuckle when I pull out four or five knives.

Ain't it rewarding to carry a knife for fifty years? That says a lot about a knife. I've only got two pocketknives I've held onto for that long. I wish I had kept a few more. I'm trying to make up for it now. No way I'll make it another fifty years but my godson might get a nice little pile to start him down that road...

Thanks! Hmmm... ::hmm:: Camillus 3 Blade Stockman #75 Knife... I am going to look and see if I have one in the "shoe-box stash" I put a lot of knives away after moving and never unpacked them ::dang:: . I am hoping I find a #75 somewhere ::paranoid:: . I cut up a lot of boxes, carpet, awnings at work and wear out the fine edge on my larger EDC pocket knife so having a "back-up''' or two or three, ::suspense:: is great when I need a sharp edge on short notice.

I bought the Ruger new with the factory upgraded trigger. I have never fired one with the older plastic trigger, but I imagine that this one is an improvement. You will never win a marksmanship award with an LCP, but it is very handy in a dangerous situation. Much better than the large-caliber weapon that you leave in the truck!
I occasionally have to work on outdoor ATM's, and have not needed it. But I would much rather have it and never need it, as to need it and not have it.

AG Russell Featherlite Onehand (clip point, AUS-8), a 100 year old pocket tool, and Knipex 140mm Combination Pliers. Didn't need much, as I had my toolbox to remove an old satellite dish and disassemble an old yard swing which the arms had rotted off.

KIMG1621.JPG
Also, a Kershaw A-100.
KIMG1624.JPG
Normally, I do NOT carry the old pocket tool. For the 4-5 months I've had it, it has been in a display case. However, I misplaced the coat a modern take on this tool was in, and had to get this one out. It is thinner (but just as strong, and easier carried in a pocket), a better wrench (due to sharper teeth on the alligator wrench, and being longer as well as open-ended), and is a better pry tool as well. Has more features. The wrenches don't go up to a larger size as the newer tool (PocketWrench II), but I get more leverage with the design. The company being advertised went out of business in 1923, so I presume this to be pre-WWI. Used this guy a lot taking down the old swing and satellite dish. Being so thin, and narrower than my adjustable wrenches, it fit where the 3/8 Blackhawk ratchet and 6" Crescent USA adjustable would not. Hard to believe that most of the one-piece pocket tools on the market today are gimmicky junk not worth plopping down the as much as $50-100 people are asking, and this century-old relic is laid out the best I have ever seen. I just don't carry it because I can't find another. Apparently, though, at one point, they were common advertising items with several company names being found. But, those company names are usually the only markings.

I am going to mess around with some CAD software on my PC, and see if I can't update this one into the modern-day, and have Shapeways 3D print a modern version. My plans are to slightly enlarge it to the point the Prestolite Key can be replaced with a 1/4 driver, but that's about the only change I see. The larger opening in the middle I do believe is a butterfly wrench.

Thanks Marco, the old Voos is rock solid, smooth action, sweet snap, good looking bones. Check them out and if you can find one think you'll like it.
