Cool picture & beautiful knives & pipes Rick!Railsplitter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 4:22 pm I quit smoking a pipe in 2013 but I gathered them all up today for a photo shoot with some knives.
The Tuna Valley Cattleman on the right has been my EDC recently but I'm considering changing to "The Gambler" as I like to call it. Just thinking about it though. I've gotten used to the thickness of the Cattleman and the Churchill is much thinner. Pretty much half the thickness of the Cattleman. Not sure I'm ready for the change but I'm thinking about it.
I love the looks of that pipe Paul! My Dad was an avid pipe smoker for over 50 years, and when he passed my Mom was about to throw all his pipes and accessories in the garbage, but at the last second the owner of the pipe shop he use to frequent called and said to not throw them away, and he would clean them up and put them up for sale in his shop. 3 months later he sent my Mom a check for nearly $7,500! Just a little story I thought you might enjoy! Enjoy your time off!
Sorry you're having these troubles Tom.TPK wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 12:41 pmNice picture Paul! That's a nice looking pipe.My dad used to smoke Raleigh cigarettes.

Wanted to put a metal roof on my wooden shed today but the weather sucks so I took my Kelly Tires Barlow (my dad used to work for that company) to get it engraved with his initials, years & a cross today but the guy wouldn't do it. He said he would have to use a really fine diamond to do it and the chances were high that it could get hot and break on SS. The diamond tip cost €67 to replace if it breaks.I looked online if anyone around here does lazer engraving but they are all at least an hours drive away.

So, I'm back to the drawing board on getting that done. That stinks!

So I came home and took my dog Jake for a long woods walk. I realized that he has blood in his urin so I'll have to take him to the vet later on today.![]()
Not exactly how I had planned my time off from work.![]()
Thanks Buddy!Madmarco wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 6:41 pmSorry you're having these troubles Tom.TPK wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 12:41 pmNice picture Paul! That's a nice looking pipe.My dad used to smoke Raleigh cigarettes.

Isn't it funny how life seems to get in the way of our plans.
Hope your buddy has nothing serious going on with his waterworks.
Keep the faith, this too shall pass!

That's awesome mate , I wish I had my grandads as I remember he had a few on a rack and sat around for years after he passed away in 1974 , I've no clue who has them now as only my mum left so they could be anywhereMadmarco wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 6:36 pmI love the looks of that pipe Paul! It does mate , although on my night shifts I carry much smaller knives like the case 6333 and 6220 and the 6344 as all perfect for my job as I've mo need for anything bigger
Thank you Mark!Madmarco wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 5:21 pmGreat knives, great shot Rick!Railsplitter wrote: ↑Tue Mar 23, 2021 4:22 pm I quit smoking a pipe in 2013 but I gathered them all up today for a photo shoot with some knives.
