Stockman & Pruner

Life is tough This morning trying to pick my carry knives I went with the two Bucks on the bottom, then I had to take a coffee break.

I had garden prep work to do--all this (actually the FedEx guy dropped the Vic off while I was doing garden work--and I opened it up and put it to use right away) was used. The Gardener is pretty big and heavy. The saw and blade on these are awesome. The scissors cut heavy materials, but aren't something you want to do pruning with. I'm looking at getting a thinner model that has the openers and screwdrivers. The liners in the RangerGrips have a cutout (and a socket built into the backspring) to take a regular screwdriver bit. Despite the liners and backspring being designed to take bits--the scales cover that cutout. I'm going to have to remedy that with a small drill bit and a file.

Here is my SOG Tomcat. I think the old Seki Japan SOGs were awesome. This one locks up tight! I dug this baby out for a little pocket time. I got a couple of these a few years ago and then put them away in the "Shoe-Box Collection".
