That's one cool box-opener you were gifted, W.W., I suggest you hang onto that coworker.
Those smooth wooden handles really makes that knife, but it's wicked sharp looking blade is not to be overlooked either. I can envision having rooms full of cardboard boxes just waiting to be slit open by that little cutter. The way the seams are so close together when the outer cover is on tells me it would ride trouble free in a pocket, should you choose to not use the lanyard. Great little gift, buddy.

Looking for comments. I picked this knife up as a one of a kind. Certainly not a handy knife or useful for that matter. But one I had to have. Bone handles. Brass liners. Ten blades!!! All pinned at the same end. Several different styles of blades. I do not know the type of steel the blades are made of. Good snap on all ten. Hesitation at the halfway open/close position.

I have seen one like it, at a barber shop in Fort Payne Alabama. It is made in Pakistan, and is a showpiece / conversation piece, not made to be used. The barber shop won't sell theirs to me, though.

GSPTOPDOG - It is a beautiful knife. And feels good and solid in the hand. I guess I like enough that I did buy it, but it is just an exhibit piece. I think I am going to list it here on AAPK. timdog

Here's a couple that just came. The Santa Fe Stone works Damascus lock back with resin and cactus covers is a gift from my wife. Cool little LB that reminds me exactly of a knife my older brother had back in the 70s. It's only mark is a Santa Fe Stone Works etch. Don't know who made it or where.
The Schrade Walden is a whole new way of acquiring knives for me. A one of a kind. A year or so I gave my 8 yr old neice her first knife, Teal blue Kershaw Leek. She loooooves it. And she is 9 now and was in a pawn shop with her dad, and spotted this folding hunter. She tells her dad it looked like a knife that was my style. And it was $10 so they bought it. Just saw them at a wedding and they gave it to me. A first ever knife gift from the only one of ALL the nieces and nephews I have given knives to that wanted to give me one back. Blew my mind, that she's the youngest of all those in her family who have recieved a pocket knife from me, to actually reciprocate. Wow, that was unexpected and touching, and humbling. She knows exactly what kind of bone I like. Still can't believe a nine year old thinks like that.
