What a great haul, Mark! Those are artwork there!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2024 7:29 pm Picked up these two Robeson RCC Congresses recently. My first RCC Congresses. Love that RCC on the bolsters.
The whittler is a Wendell Carson from my store. I had it returned recently because the sticker on the box didn’t match the knife in the box. I was glad to have it back. I intended to put it in my collection earlier but hadn’t gotten around to it yet when it sold. I sure don’t mind the sticker being different. Love these fiddleback whittlers and this one by Wendell Carson is beautiful. The MOP is very high quality.
Thanks TMK.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 2:32 pmWhat a great haul, Mark! Those are artwork there!Sharpnshinyknives wrote: ↑Sun Jun 16, 2024 7:29 pm Picked up these two Robeson RCC Congresses recently. My first RCC Congresses. Love that RCC on the bolsters.

Nice knife! I am not doubting you, brother, but from the picture I would swear it has a tang stamp. I cannot read it, and it might even be random spots of rust, but it looks like lettering to me. Here is a screenshot where I played around with the brightness & contrast:
Reverand you may be right. I will have to put a little pencil lead on it and get the magnifier outReverand wrote: ↑Mon Jun 17, 2024 9:51 pmNice knife! It could be Phil. I'm still coon fingering it so maybe I can get a clue.
