Love this fleam. I picked up one with a similar body shape/material/blade number from a junk store last year. They thought it was feeler gauge for cars and had it marked for $5. One of my favorite finds!

Got these two in the mail today, they were out of the water in the shallow end of the bay, stuck in the mud as the tide went out.
Chinese Buck and a short line Camillus 72
Chinese Buck and a short line Camillus 72
They were listed as "Buck 375 & Scout Camw3a Knives", don't know if they hit the wrong keys or were guessing. ::shrug::
One picture of both knives folded up, no idea of the blade condition. It looked like a 72 and I knew it wasn't a Scout because of the shield.
Took a big gamble and bid $1.20 plus shipping and got it! :)
The 72 shows up pretty well.

The stamp on the mark side is all but gone. Don't have the capability for great pictures but from what shows up , I'm sure it is a short line pattern.

Going to give the 72 a good scrubbing and put edges on the blades when I "getaroundtoit".

Found some small knives at the flea market this morning. Great weather finally in Minnesota. Only paid about $15 total for all these.

One guy had tables full of folding knives, but my arms were full of old Mason jars for my wife. I'll have to check back with him next week to dig through.

I've studied the remains of the stamp several times, it is so worn that my idea of a short line comes from the distance between the letters I can positively identify and the fact that no "line" appears under the "S" or what's left of the "C". ::shrug::

Oh yeah, just saw the pictures of the turkey birds y'all got the other day. Good job! ::tu::

My newest purchase arrived today from one of our AAPK store owners (Folgore1).
A new 9" Roma style Lockback Swinguard Switchblade w/Wood handles. Leather sheath included.
Very nice knife and I only have a few similar to this one.

Got these from the shallow end of the bay the other day, a little 96236 Craftsman and a hefty Imperial DE 353 stockman. If I didn't have a faithful EDC, the Diamond Edge would be right at home with me. So many times I encounter Imperial shell handled knives that aren't too interesting and these with real bolsters are a breath of fresh air. ::tu::
Wooden handles on the little Craftsman and still some of the etch on the 353 DE clip blade.

Again, not trying to steal your thunder, David, but when great minds think alike I have to show you mine!
This is the original design on these Roma knives prior to them being made with more traditional covers!
11" open and solid as the day is long!
The only real differences are mine having ABS covers and being 2" longer, and, I have LOTS of similar models! lol!
They're now making a model that has the button integrated into the top bolster, and you gotta know I'm trying to figure out how to get my paws on one of those successfully!
Enjoy your new knife, buddy!

Some knives appeal to me as they remind me of my youth. I came across this one in our own olderdogs1 store in ebay. Reasonably priced, great communication, prompt delivery and as described. What a great guy to deal with. Thanks again Tom.
