Well, let's get started
Seeing this post, I went to Amazon to see this knife. I see they have another model similar to your's also.dlr110 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 5:39 pm Well fellow knifers please forgive me. I was getting some household items on Amazon on Monday and started looking at knives like I always do and this knife caught my eye for some reason. Dispatch Knives and Tools is a company I had never heard of. The knife is made in China of courseIt's a lockback with a swing guard on it. It appears to be good stainless steel and it has Red Rosewood handles. It measures 5" closed with a 4" blade and weighs in at 5.3 ounces. For what ever it's worth out of 263 ratings it receives 4.3 out of 5 stars. Reading the poor reviews it sounds like some people thought they were getting a $50 knife instead of a $16 knife. I just don't think they knew anything about pocket knives. The price was cheap but I just liked the looks of it for some reason so I added it onto the order I was placing. Just out of the box I would give this knife about a 4.5 for looks, style, design and materials. It's not a knife I would buy to carry but it will look good in my collection.

It will be interesting to see if we have similar opinions about it.Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sat Apr 20, 2024 6:32 pm Seeing this post, I went to Amazon to see this knife. I see they have another model similar to your's also.

I've had both for about a year direct from the source, and for just a few bones they are fine knives!
Since I no longer daily carry all they can do is look good in my accumulation, and that's why I bought em'!
I got the clip-point wishing it was a drop-point but got it anyway cuz I liked the overall look, then a week later the drop-point dropped and...well, you get it! They even have easily removable via a screw swinguards should the owner wish to remove them!
The drop-point is marked "DISPATCH" and has Rosewood covers, the clip-point "DeHong" and has Ebony covers!

I saw your post about yours coming on Tuesday, Tony, but chose to quote David cuz we have a thing where he posts a knife and as soon as I see it I'm asking him where I can get one, but this time I have the knife before he does, just my usual failed attempt at being funny.![]()
I have a LOT of knives you don't know I have, that's why, again I keep telling you, you should browse my threads with all my knives in them, autos, manuals, and fixer's "maybe you'll start believing me now"! lol!
Seriously though, I think you would very much enjoy viewing my accumulations, I'm certain there are knives in there that you haven't seen before but wish you had, cuz many were purchased for their unusual and/or uniqueness.
It will be like you're at your own private knife show! Can you tell I'm proud of my knives?![]()

Thank YOU, David,
My goodness, now I'm feeling that you're feeling I was spanking you with my comments, Tony, so if you are my apologies to you also, again, jus' trying to be funny.Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 7:03 pmMadmarco wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 6:57 pmI keep tellin' you man, maybe you'll start believing me now! lol!Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 11:32 am

Wow ... just realizzed I am over 400 posts here. Still a newbie!
No feeling of being spanked at all Mark. I only meant I will look at your posts. I should have simply said " I will do that".Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 7:19 pmMy goodness, now I'm feeling that you're feeling I was spanking you with my comments, Tony, so if you are my apologies to you also, again, jus' trying to be funny.Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 7:03 pmMadmarco wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 6:57 pm

Good for you on "over 400", keep er' goin', I'm closing in on 10,000, but I'm afraid you are far from still being a newbie!
That being said, we both have a long way to go to catch up with Jerry who is our long-time leader who has nearly hit 40,000, WOW!
It's looking like I'm either being overly critical today or I woke-up feeling insecure.![]()

Whew!
Same for you Tony what I told David, it seems I woke-up insecure instead of critical, so please don't change anything about yourself or how you word your posts, I like you exactly how you are, it's my OCD mind causing the problem not yours!Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Apr 21, 2024 8:57 pmNo feeling of being spanked at all Mark.
