Thanks to Matt. I just couldnt get that steel to look good in any photo and it deserves to look good! Raindrop damaskus with ironwood handles and some spalted maple from Matts wood lot that he had stabilized. I really like this piece. Next is gonna be a chef knife to match.

My daughter got this at a festival and we have no idea what the marks or numbers mean. Does anyone here know? Thank you.

That's one cool leverlock, RSR, I don't know anything about it, other than India comes to mind as place of origin, and how darn cool it is! I love the shape of the blade!
How's the action and overall performance on it?
Nice catch!

Thanks, MadMarco. My daughter says it opens and closes easily. Other than that, she knows as much about knives as I do - and what we know couldn’t fill a thimble.

Saw one of these as a.kid and thought it the most ingenious thing ever. 70 years later I fished this one out of the shallow end of the bay.

Remington R15 that came in the mail today. Bought on an online auction with poor pictures. Columbus took a chance and I did too. Liking the result.

Here's a Parker Cutlery Co (made in Japan) knife that I owned years ago and sold (same model, not this exact knife). It was one of those sales that left me with a bit of seller's remorse because I really liked the unique design of the handle and the modified Wharncliffe blade. So, when I saw this one come up for sale on eBay, I jumped on it. I know Parker knives generally don't command a whole lot of collector interest, but with very few exceptions all the Parkers I've owned over the years have been solid, well made knives, and this one is no exception. Glad to welcome it back into the fold.

Nice Lady Rem KJ ... poor auction pics many times equal a good find and a better price.
QT, the Parker is a beauty , with the covers, bolster, and blade shape complimenting each other perfectly ... very pleasing to the eye!

My kindda knife, ~Q~, very cool.
Jacob from the ebay store "eprague" is currently listing one very similar you might want to check out. SKU: # 364585103854/$99.99
I'm glad you got one back that you were sorry to part with, the odds of that happening are not good.

Glad you like it Jamie! The skull shield is a portion of the designer's mark/badge. The full mark/badge has crossbones in the shape of an A with the skull above them. The skull shield IS different. Many thanks!

Your trapper is gorgeous, Jamie, I almost pulled the trigger for one recently, but I went with this Rosecraft "Riverbend" model instead, but now that I see your trapper offline I'm sure it won't be long until I scoop up one of those as well! Got it from my friend Tony/Corn Creek Cutlery or CCC!
This knife is very much like the Rough Rider model!
