I like them. Great pick ups.
What a beautiful and stunning "Dog", Tony, congratulations and welcome to your newest addiction!Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 1:03 am My first Bulldog came in the mail today ... was purchased from SSK ... looks like I am starting another collection!![]()

I like the cobratec, decides to save the extra $40 and get the horn over the stag. It will need a little breaking in to get a bit smoother but still works well. The Gunstock Rosecraft is flawless and great in the hand, I like the black with the spade shield, I’m really impressed with it.Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 12:10 am Excellent C-wade ... appreciate the shout out you gave ... That Cobratec is VERY NICE!![]()

If your knife comes out looking anything like it's raw materials, Iman, it should be a good one they're in pristine condition starting out.Ivoryman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 3:54 amThat's pretty. The dogs are some sweeties, Quick Steel got me looking and man they made some beauties. Looked at a lot of Kephart style fixed blades and got hooked but never seem to see them in stag. So, did the next best thing. Got a blade blank from Condor and some Elk antler from Oregon Antler Works and have a new home made shop project for half the price. More pics later as work progresses.
Nice pair of EDC's, Kerry, they both look like they'd do the job!
That's a great knife you bought, Tom, it is most attractive.
Mighty useful looking knives, Jamie, with those attachments they look like they would cover any task onboard!
Many thanks Marco ... to avoid any "Mark" confusion. I am very please with the "Dog", and will have to "get me another one"! I say that a lot cause a deer hunter I watch on youtube will say after each kill, "got me...one". It's not a profound statement, but it's the way he says it. His name is The Hunting Beast Dan Infalt. Anyway, I am off topic now ... back to knives!Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 11:58 pmWhat a beautiful and stunning "Dog", Tony, congratulations and welcome to your newest addiction!Corn Creek Cutlery wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 1:03 am My first Bulldog came in the mail today ... was purchased from SSK ... looks like I am starting another collection!![]()

As it was said, your photographic skills are 2nd to none, and not only for this post, all of them.
Garry said that if you buy your BD's from Mark you will always get the best quality, and all I can add is that applies for any knife you buy from Mark, he's a true purveyor of fine pocket cutlery!

Here are a few I picked up at the Louisville Gun & Knife show this weekend. I probably went a little overboard with the Queens & Schatts, but there was such a good selection, I just couldn't seem to put'em all back. The most quality traditional folders I've seen at a Louisville gun show in a long time.

Wow, Kevin, you must've made quite a few enemies at that show of every guy who was standing behind you waiting for their turn at the knife tables since you scooped all the best ones and made out like a bandit.knifeaddict1965 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 12:08 am Here are a few I picked up at the Louisville Gun & Knife show this weekend.
Thanks, Madmarco. Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. I didn't even wear a mask or a helmet.
Thanks CCC, doglegg, & Q! Appreciate All your feedback... Fortunately Q, I don't think I made too many enemies.knifeaddict1965 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 12:08 am Great pick-ups everyone!![]()

Every one of them is a score but I'm particularly drawn to those TV Mammoth PJs and that incredibly rare/hard to find Case I254W is the ultimate show stopper. Great catch!
Thank you Mr Vine, you have been out of the hospital now for month or so, I hope you have no lingering issues or effects from the hospital stay. Sure hope you are better heading into springtime ( well here soon, I know you are in the freezer up there in the great white north).

Thanks I-Man! I couldn't agree with you more... I obviously love the Ivories as well, and that whittler really spoke to me with those beautiful bone handles and a pattern that I love. And I fell in love with that teardrop pattern with the spear a while back when Q posted one on here, so I was thrilled to get a good deal on that one. Thanks again bud.Ivoryman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 6:19 amknifeaddict1965 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 12:08 am Great pick-ups everyone!![]()

What a haul. Congrats. Lots of beauties in there. Really like the S&M whittler, the TDrop spear in ACSB, and those Phoenix Jack's in ivory.Great scores.![]()
And my ACSB Teardrop was a gift from Ivoryman. I guess that's what is known as "the circle of knife"!knifeaddict1965 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 26, 2024 3:54 pmI fell in love with that teardrop pattern with the spear a while back when Q posted one on here
