When my brother Jim was stationed at Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, he met a knife maker by the name of Woodley.
Jim had him make two knives for my Dad, this one and one similar. When Dad passed away a few months ago, I took this one and our youngest brother, Kevin, got the other.

Now I need to move someplace where I can carry it.
That one is worth a move to carry, Steve! Thanks so much for your service, also...

Very nice Steve, nice clean lines, did you get the sheath also? You could move to Nebraska and carry it! but you would have to put up with our weather.

John, tmk, Terry - thanks.
Nothing fancy for a sheath. Plain, simple, but I like it.

Sergei Shidlovski walrus ivory. A Ukrainian maker. I don't know why the knife is not etched or stamped; perhaps the ivory connection makes him nervous? He is on Instagram but I am not so I don't know anything about him. But this knife is top notch in every regard.
