3 5/8" closed, short line tang stamp, 1st generation, "whittler" pocket knife. It needed a good cleaning and I'm quite surprised, but pleased, that it cleaned up as well as it did. I took some pictures and here it is.

Picked up this 72 , came with box and it is like new condition. Not exactly sure about the etching and handle. This is not the 100 year anniversary model as some had thought . Have reread this thread and am still a little confused as too what this one is all about . Any feedback would be great .

It was made special for Sears as a run of 2000 and was in their 1991 Christmas advertiser.

Now you need the other two variations (pictured below).
Unless of course you already have them.

I have yet to see any of those three that is not in factory condition. Because it took me so long to find the plain one, those three are my pride and joy.

This afternoon, this pocket knife got added to my collection. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, short line tang stamp, 2nd generation, "whittler" pocket knife. It needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
