That's a real winner, Skip!New_Windsor_NY wrote: βFri Apr 30, 2021 11:13 pm This afternoon, I get the pleasure of adding this pocket knife to my collection. It's a CAMILLUS 72, 3 blade, swelled center,
3 5/8" closed, short line tang stamp, 1st generation, "whittler" pocket knife. It needed a good cleaning and I'm quite surprised, but pleased, that it cleaned up as well as it did. I took some pictures and here it is.

Agree with the guys ,thatβs a great find Skip.
It was made special for Sears as a run of 2000 and was in their 1991 Christmas advertiser.Ripster wrote: βFri May 14, 2021 1:15 pm Picked up this 72 , came with box and it is like new condition. Not exactly sure about the etching and handle. This is not the 100 year anniversary model as some had thought . Have reread this thread and am still a little confused as too what this one is all about . Any feedback would be great .

I have yet to see any of those three that is not in factory condition. Because it took me so long to find the plain one, those three are my pride and joy.New_Windsor_NY wrote: βFri May 14, 2021 6:09 pmJP, congratulations on obtaining the "ducks."![]()
