Tim, that’s a sweet looking knife. Didn’t know Remington every made a knife like this.

Whoa, that is one busy looking knife, Tim, does it come with an Operators Manual? lol!
Beautiful shade of red/pink/corral on those nicely jigged covers.

Kim, that K'roo looks even better in hand. Unfortunately, my pictures did not do it justice. The fit & finish and blade run up to the back spring is flawless.

Here ya go Kim. Pictures of my newly acquired stag K'roo with the other 2 I have in Pepper Tree Root Burl. You can see the smooth run up between the blades and back springs and blade centering in the 4th & 5th pictures. Thanks again to Q for allowing me to add these beauties to my ever-expanding Wharncliffe collection/addiction.

You're always welcome, and those you just posted are probably just as good or better quality pieces. I don't know personally, but have read reviews and all were very good. They look custom, top end quality. Very well done. Beautiful collection you have.

Thank you sir for your kind words... I am anxiously awaiting the next knife show to hopefully trade for or pick up a couple of those beautiful Northwoods. If I can add a few of those to my collection, I will be satisfied and won't need anything else for a while. Wellll, maybe a very short while anyway. And then I can look forward to some more time on the couch to think about my transgressions.

Thanks tvic! That Remington you posted is really cool and your picture looks great.

I fished this knife out of the 'Bay by being the only bidder.
It is a Robeson Carpenter's Choice. The tang stamp is all but worn away, and I can only barely make out part of the "Shuredge" cursive script.
When I did a search for the pattern number 132433, I found where a visitor to the forum had posted and gotten answers on this exact same knife!
viewtopic.php?p=1102788&hilit=132433#p1102788 I only have one other Robeson knife, and it is newer and I think was made by Camillus, so that makes this my first real Robeson. I believe that the main blade is shortened a bit, but it still looks great to me. At first I had thought that the small blade on the end was worn down, but realized that it was shaped like that from the factory.
With steel bolsters and liners, it was probably made during WW II. She has great snap, and a #2 pencil and some steel wool has already improved the appearance.
All in all, it is a HOK that will receive a good sharpening and some pocket time here soon!
