Minks are smallish animals and I don't think they have any bones large enough to make handles from.

Thanks guys. I always wanted a denim micarta knife and when it appeared in this pattern, I jumped. I'm heading out of state tomorrow and it's coming along for the ride.

The photo makes the Boker look very ratty, but it's actually much nicer than that.

I’ve had one of those Bokers and they are nice knives. Very well made. Not familiar with the bottom one. Both look like great EDC knives.

Blue Buck knives. At one time they called it Indigo but too many people complained about the color variations. They are laminated wood handles. Nickel silver bolsters. Models 110,122&55

I see the variation in the colors but they are all pretty nice looking. I just started collecting a few Buck knives. I will have to keep an eye open for these. I’m partial to wooden handles and these look pretty nice.

Just so you know Buck sometimes uses a birch laminate died a color then impregnated with resin. Technically wood, but also plastic. It’s a very good stable material, but heavy. Nothing wrong with it, but you should know what you are getting.

I think the problem with these knives is the flatness of the handle only shows one layer. The different layers take the die differently. Sometimes its an off color layer at the top.

I’m not disappointed with them. Just making conversation about them They came from Silver Knight (SK) blades. A nice guy named Stephen he would order cool runs from Buck then sell them. They all had Nickel Silver parts.

The current management chose to no longer do small runs for him and he went out of business.

Buck knives are fun to collect.

I used blue/black Kirinite for the new covers on a Dr.'s knife I have, that had shattered when I dropped it, and I found it to be very easy to work with and produced great results.
It's always exciting to finally get your hands on a certain knife you've wanted a long time, congratulations!

Got this one in today. Probably going to list it in my store soon. This is the first pattern of Marbles knives I bought over 20 years ago. Love these EO Jacks.

Thanks Mark and Ivoryman. One of my favorites, I know I say that a lot, but EO Jacks are right near the top of the list of patterns that I like the most.

Mark, that is an absolutely stunning knife. If I had the funds, you'd have it sold!
