Cudgee, that's a beaut!! What Brand is it?
Thanks mate, it is one of my favorite knives. It sits at 3 and 3/8 inches long which is the perfect size for me. Not too big, sits easily in the hand and pocket and keeps a really sharp edge, and looks classy. It is a Joseph Rodgers from Sheffield.

Hey Cudgee , thatβs a good looking piece, do you EDC that one ?
For some reason out of all the knifes laying around here only have 3 Barlows, and of course they are Camillus. Itβs a very nice pattern and have been looking for a #9 Daddy short line with bone for over a year .
Was neat to read thru the pages here and see some dandies !!
Yes mate, it is an EDC.

I cannot help you with your search, but Case have a Smooth Antique Bone Barlow with a spear point blade that you might be interested in. I have a 1/2 whittler in the same covers and they are sensational.

Just a little. Added a couple more to my Barlow Box.
1st, a 1976 Queen Steel USA # 22 Barlow. Has the Queen Steel #22 Made In USA blade etch, Ha the "Q"76 tang stamp on the main Clip blade, and the paten number stamped on the secondary pen blade. Blades are tight with no wobble, still have original luster, and snap like a gator. Handles are tight with no cracks, and the Aluminum solid frame has no cracks with just a few spots on the bottom.
The next is a Camillus Long Line tang Stamp Pattern 51 with the Clip Blade. Blades are like new, very little scratches, tight, no wobble and great snap. It has the brown composite scales with imitation saw cut lines. These are not delrin.
And here is an updated shot of my Barlow Box. These are not all my Barlow, I have a couple other newer Case and Bear MGC boxed up.

I picked up another Robeson by Queen grand dad barlow. This one has strawberry jigged bone handles. I love that RCC on the bolsters.

What a gorgeous color bone Mark! If that knife had a spear-point blade with that bolsterless bottom-end, I'd be all over you to part with it! A beautiful knife, congrats!

Smitty! I realize your post is a couple of weeks old, but I missed it originally, and was hoping you would show n' tell some more about the knife with white covers and bolsters on both ends that's lying vertical to the other knives in your Barlow Box. It also appears to be the smallest knife in the box. Oh, almost forgot, NICE herd of Barlow's! Thanks, Mark!

P.S.-The last knife in the bottom row on the right that's next to the 3 larger knives, one of your new one's, is laying on the mark side and all the others are on their pile side, but I'll bet you did that purposely to show the bone color on that side! Sorry, my OCD is acting up! LOL!

Hey Marc, no problem. Actually it's kind of an optical illusion, the white handled Barlow is 3-7/8 inch long closed and the best I can measure is 13/16 inches wide, just a little longer than the standard Barlow's, but shorter than the Granddaddy Barlows.
It was part of a production or line of knives called "FAMILY BRANDS" that Case XX produced back in 2008 and 2009 honoring some past knife companies that were formed by members of the Case Family. This one was honoring The Standard Knife Company. It is listed as a 61005 Single Blade Barlow. It has Natural Bone handles with a "STANDARD" stamped Bar Shield, and bolsters on each end. On the mark side of the Spear Master Blade the tang stamp has "STANDARD KNIFE CO." in an arched design. On the pile side of the tang it has "USA" over 61005 over "SS". The Blade has an etch with the cursive long tailed "C" of CASE with "1st Run" inside the curve of the "C" and "XX" stamped at the end of the tail. The blade and Bolsters have a Mirror Finish which resulted in a hard time for me trying to get a clear shot of the blade etch. But I don't claim to be a photographer. I bought this knife new in the box back in 2009. It has excellent blade snap, great fit and finish and positive half stops on the blade.
If you've never heard of Standard Knife Company, here is some info on them. This information is from an article on a site called, "The Historic Path of Cattaraugus County.
https://historicpath.com/place-themes-i ... fe-company
Standard Knife Company
Founded by Elliott J. and Dean J. Case
Little Valley, New York
1901-1903
After learning the business from their father Jean Case at Case Brothers, Elliott and Dean Case formed the jobber Standard Knife Company on Fair Oak Street in 1901. Sales were brisk, with product manufactured by C. Platts & Sons and others, and with the ultimate goal of expanding into manufacturing. Savvy marketing certainly helped: βIf youβre found dead with a Standard Knife in your pocket, we will pay for your funeral.β But tragedy struck when Elliott returned from a sales trip with Typhoid fever, dying at 28 years old, leaving a widow and two small children. Dean was forced to return to Case Brothers, and the assorted family businesses bought Standard Knifeβs inventory, evidenced by very rare W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery stickers covering, thus concealing, this late companyβs packaging and brief existence.
Information provided by Brad Lockwood and Dean E. Case.
If one likes the Barlow Design, this is a nice one to add. Hope that helps, and here are some more photos of the 61005. Oh, on a side note, the 005 pattern is not listed in the W.R. Case Knife Factory Pattern Numbers in the AAPK research section, probably because it is a recent issue.

Smitty! Thanks so much for your in-depth explanation, it was most helpful. In the new pics you provided I see the covers appear more cream color than white, at least on my screen, and the texture looks to be jigged, whereas I originally thought they were smooth. It's such a beautiful little folder with the dual bolsters and single spear-point blade, my kindda knife! Thx again!
