All About Pocket Knives

Hello all, I found a knife at my job that I can't ID.

I believe it's an Ulster, but due to pitting in an unfortunate location, there's no way of knowing for sure.

Very well made, very heavy, I'm no expert but I think the blade is an Ulster design.

All help appreciated

Nice lot of ulster.
Here one I received in the mail today.A bone handle 58OT light brown .
The first is the Sellers picture the second is after a little cleaning.The knife looks like it has full blades but left to rust.

It seems that the first 58Ot came out with bone handles.You can tell them they have the Ulster USA on one site of the tang and the number on the other side. They also have some milling on the back of the liners.

I'm reviving this thread with my latest Ulster, I have never seen a folding hunter from Ulster with a saw blade?? Has anyone seen or have one like it? Both blades are marked Ulster Knife Co NY

I like that one! The clip to dress ol' buck and the saw to split his pelvis, good combination !

Here is an old Ulster - tang stamped Ulster Knife Co, Ellenville N.Y. in the small stamp. Great stag, full saber grind, swing guard; probably the second best Ulster I have owned.

That is one great looking knife, I have his cousin. It's marked Ellenville Knife Co with bone handles

Mike I have the same knife marked Maher & Grosh.Obviously made by Ulster.

Two beautiful swing guards and a hunter. WOW

Here you go Mike.The photo is poor but the best I can do at night inside.Maher & Grosh had 3 different 2 blade folding hunters.One with a pen secondary blade, one with a large spear blade and also with a saw blade.

For some reason I have a great affinity for those two. Lovely cousins

I did not know that Ulster made knives for M&G very interesting. Thanks for showing it. I posted this Ulster made knife in another thread but figured I would put it here too in case others have not seen it. It's one of my favorite knives and the workmanship is unbelievable!!

That is the coolest blade on there Mike,love it.

Here's one for the Ulster thread .
Early fixed blade outers knife with hollow handle and compass in the butt cap .
Wish I could find a sheath for it .

Nice knife, I've seen KA-BAR's and Case's like that but never an Ulster, great find.
