Oh yeah! Nice knife Jethro.

You should post it on the mammoth ivory thread too.

I wasn't sure I liked this one when I got it, especially after seeing some of youse guys beautiful elk, but it's beginning to grow on me...

I notice there are no fissures in these scales at all. They're almost too plain, but the knife feels really good in hand with those nice smooth, thick slabs, so... I guess it's a keeper.

I guess it
is kinda purty!

Love that mammoth weaver, Jethro. It's a shame GEC hasn't made a larger pattern in mammoth ivory, like a 73. Hmmmm....

Jethro, that Mammoth is sweet!
Barry, I really like that Elk! Sometimes its hard to see past the "box", but if you take expectations out of the equation, that is one fine knife … I have a #56 jack that is Burnt Stag, but looks like smooth brown bone … I was not at all sure I liked it at first, but now it's one of my favorite and most unique knives, and rides in my pocket often …
I think you got a keeper there, GJ.

You make some good points Edge. This knife is sorta similar, in a way.
At first glance I didn't like it, but I decided on second thought to pick it up. It's very unusual smooth stag and the only thing like it in my collection.

Yep, that is exactly what that 56 I was talkin about looks like - kinda like a cross between stag and primitive bone … that's a real beauty, Barry.

Nice one Jethro
Amazing group shot Monk!!
Edge, your Elks look great, the Kauri is sweet bro.
Barry I agree with Edge and Mike, sometimes the 'non typical" makes it even more appealing and unique, such as that smooth butter stag you got

Thanks, Earl.
My Burnt Stag lockback (for EDC) showed up ….
… I'm pretty happy with it - slabs are real even, and thin enough for back pocket.

Nice stag on those 72's boys! Man, that spear blade is a hog! Looks like it'd be great for eatin' boiled peanuts, but hard to pick yer teeth with!

Barry, thats #73 is beautiful.
That smooth stag looks great for EDC, but theres just something really unique there, I like it.
Great #72s, another perfect pattern.

Thanks Johnny T. ! Yeah, it's totally different from any of my other GEC stags. Haven't brought myself to carry it yet; too many other edc choices! I love 'em all!!!!

Pretty impressive EDC Edge, NICE !! Love the spears on these #72's, but also had to try
one of each blade style. Here is my clip in Elk and my wharnie in Red Bone (my spear is
Burnt Stag and already posted here). The Dogleg Jack shown here is going to be my new EDC.
It has pretty fat stag and seems about the right size. The spear with LP and pen is currently
my favorite combo to carry.

Nice showing. I really like the old photos.

That 56 stag sure is a fat rascal. The 56 is one of my favorite frame shapes from GEC. I'm hoping they'll see fit do an EZ open single blade clip or spear down the road.

Nice line up HP; try taking photos outside in indirect sunlight, I think you'll like the results. Don't forget to use your macro setting for up close shots.
Hey fellas; I had to scramble a little, but I finally got me a nice barky elk stag! Her mate is due to show up in a couple of days!
