Via a "Quick Links" search it seems this is the very first time Revesz brand has been mentioned on this site! ::hmm::
Nice. I was watching an abalone case melon tester last week but missed out. Haven’t seen a stag or collectible in the right price range yet, but I’m watching for the right opportunity.

Thanks, Eric.
I figure I got lucky when I spotted that stag model on ebay with an asking price of US$65. but he accepted my offer of $50. so it was that much sweeter.
Have you ever heard of Revesz brand knives? ::shrug::

Amen to that Homer. Worked for me.

Little ODGreen from Kershaw came in. No snap or action really. Manual movement only here. Handle fits the hand well though and they left the micarta furry. Looooooooooooooe that.
Does it have some sort of lock on the blade?
No lock. I believe they call it "detente" or something. Some tension on the blade when open keeps it open supposedly. Although after being used to traditional knives with spring tension that is hard or bear trap, this feels like it could definitely close on you if you're not careful. Not a big fan of that either. I love bear trap tension because it feels like it won't close on you. This has none. Feels like a friction folder to me without much friction. If that helps.

Thanks for the info. I also like a good spring or some sort of lock. I guess Ill avoid that model. After one or two law suits they'll abandon the detent idea.

This one should look familiar to AAPK members. Since I didn’t join until 2018 I missed out on all the previous club knives and even one after I became a member. This one was worth waiting for. Canal Street Cutlery made this muskrat for AAPK in 2012. North American elk horn handles, all nickel silver components, no brass and the fit and finish is impeccable. I sure wish Canal Street was still producing knives like these.

Postman drop off these ole things yestiddy, yeah I been wading in the shallow end of the bay again.I found this lot it had no bidders with just a few minutes to go, I figured the ole boker stockman was worth the starting bid so what the heck. Knew the old Imp.was a shell handle and figured the Kent was too but it's not even got a liner lock. So some cool ole junkers to go in my junk pile. ::super_happy::

Don't be bad mouth'in their pedigree. There's nothing wrong with those three that a little elbow grease won't fix. Nice score.

I’ve been trying to curb my knife buying this year and finally fell off the wagon. They call me Steamboat Willie, so it only makes sense that one of these would follow me home. Pretty excited about this one!

Nice one! I have seen that knife at the same dealers table every time I go to the knife show. I pick it up every time and check it out, but never buy it, LOL.
