I came across this new Camillus New York model 27 electrician today (it was sharing a display case with an old Buck and a brand new Colonial shell handled jack knife). I bought the Colonial and this Camillus because I liked the light colored Delrin handles; this one is brand new old stock. It has one peculiarity in my opinion; when you open the screwdriver blade you must push the brass lock into place and do the same to release it (etched on the blade and not stamped into the brass either).

The blade is forged from round silversteel (Böhler k510) barstock. The wood is curly birch, the traditional handle material of choice for Finnish puukkos.
Very, very nice ... !

Thanks kama!

Yes, I'm sure they did Garddog. ::nod::
Looky Looky, here is a beautiful job done by our own JoeDirt. He took a basic Case Sodbuster and turned it into this custom dream of a Sod. ::nod:: From vine filework to the backspring, (smooth as silk by the way), to a neat new swedge at the point, to give a better point to the blade, Genius! Creating a half stop, polishing the blade spine and the tang! Topping it all off with some really beautiful Cypress Swamp Stump handles! Thank you again Joe for allowing me to own one of your creations. I'm not happy with these pics, got to take better ones.
Joe even signed the inner liner and dated it!

I like how the pins really blend in to the Cypress handles.
