Thanks David, everyone should have the pleasure of a carrying a slipjoint from Tony Bose. I also have the pleasure of carrying and using a drop point from Bob Loveless.

Carrying this Zulu spear that the talented Johnny Stout made for me. ABS Master Smith Jon Christensen forged the mosaic feather damascus blade, Mike Tyre forged the feather damascus bolsters, really nice Sambar stag.

Thanks! I must have 5 or 6 Western fixed blades, L39, W36, L88 etc. I guess I need to check all my shoe boxes and drawers and get a good count I love them and when I see a deal on one I can't resist adding another to the "pile".

I also love the L39! That is a great size for "out in the field" all day and hiking around with solid but lighter weight fix blade.

Good looking pair, bet they were very reasonably priced when new back in the 70s. Know who made them for Sears? Looks like Schrade to me.


Woodwalker, that one is pretty good looking as well. Love the saw cut bones from back then.
