Well put. That's why I love this thread, it shares the cool places everyone is going whether their neighborhood or an epic journey. It also reminds me that what seems commonplace to each of us is exotic and different to someone else.

Picked some leeks the other day. Had my Bark River Knives, Featherweight Fox River with me. CPM S45vn steel and orange burlap handle with mosaic pins.

Great photo Doug. We have wild leeks down here also, although some of the older folk call them Ramps. We also have a few varieties of wild & spring onions, as well as some wild garlic.
