This just in, a New York Knife Co. whittler from a ways back with. Has the "Hammer Brand" main stamp, New York Knife Co. over Walden, on the secondaries so I think it's 1938-41. Great bones. action, walk, talk, zero wobble, smooth pivot, pretty decent shape.
Iman, what a beautiful old whittler! Excellent!!!

Thank you too Marco, glad this one measures up to the standards this time, more so than that old Schrade I posted a while back that didn't make the cut. Just kidding there. But thanks again really, thanks for the nice comments always and glad you like it.

Thanks to you too TPK, very nice of you to notice and comment and hope I didn't miss anyone. Appreciate all the comments everyone and thanks again. And all the planets must have aligned to bring the rare event of two knives showing up in two days. Yesterdays was a tough act to follow, but this Camillus WW2 era Scout came today and has really tickled me. It's in pretty good shape for having been used who knows how much over the past 80ish years, and still rock solid no wobble, butter smooth action, great snap and tight all around. Plus it was well taken care of enough to keep the bones crack and chip free and looking good. Love these old WW2 era knives. They had style, looks, and build quality.

Another that's not my style Iman, but there's no denying that knife is a beauty! Very "warm" looking covers on that baby! 8)

Jamie here got in a massive group of old Schrade blades, and I finally got around to getting saw blades for 97OTs and 225OTs.

I was trying to decide which of my 96OTs would be getting the treatment (since both aren't really nice knives--one has hardly any blade wear, the other has quite a bit--one has both scale tools, so does the other, but the pin looks like someone broke the head off). Both were bought with a conversion to 97OTs in mind. Jamie threw in a second one, so it looks like both are destined to become 97OTs. I rarely even deploy the spey blades on either, so I figure for farm work, a saw is better than a second, rarely used blade. I'd like some nicer scales, but the cost and manhours required to hollow them out to take the pick and tweezers don't justify it. I can always carry a small Classic SD Swiss Army Knife for those.

The one I am showing here seems to show more wear on its spey blade than its clip, making it a good candidate. The pick is also missing.

Still need to source a suitable (banged up, but not junk) 25OT or 225H, or perhaps a Frontier or Craftsman equivalent. I've got my eyes on a pretty banged-up 225H with worn skinner and slightly chipped main in my price range. I'm possibly considering just having a folding saw made if I can find a suitable 125OT with a broken main blade, which should be (presumably) even cheaper.

Cool saw blades Cody. ::tu:: :D

Beautiful addition I-Man! ::nod:: :D

This is (was) my newest SAK Classic Limited Edition. Bought it so that I would have something patriotic to carry on the 4th of July. However, my son likes it so I offered it to him for his key chain & he gladly accepted my offer. ::doh:: I went ahead & added it to his key chain while taking these pictures. ::tu::

Oh well, I'm out of a cool little SAK but maybe it will increase his interest in my Hobby. If so, it was a great investment. ::nod:: ::tu:: ::super_happy::

Now, me, my wife, my oldest daughter & my son all have a key chain knife and my youngest daughter wants a key chain SAK too. So it looks as if their interest in pocket knives is going in the right direction. I'm pretty happy about them all wanting a key chain knife. My wife has had here's for about a year now & has used it a number of times. She always tells me proudly at the dinner table whenever she uses it for something. I guess that's what finally got my kids interested in key chain knives. I will buy one for my youngest daughter as soon as I can. She already picked out one that she likes. And IMO, I can't imagine anyone who has become used to carring a pocket knife ever wanting to go back to not carrying one.

And here is my newest EDC. A "KLEIN TOOLS INC." / JAPAN. It's been used quite a bit but it's a solid knife & I still really like it. Slipped it into my pocket as soon as I opened the package the other day. ::nod:: I love the size of it at 3 1/2" it's perfect for my taste. I'll be honest, I wish it was a Buck 055 but Buck knives are a bit scarce & expensive over here. Especially if they are used. They bid the used ones up to almost what a new one would cost. So for now, I'll settle for this Klein Tools Inc. knife. I'd like to find a nice belt sheath for it too. ::nod:: :D

I already commented on your new SAK's in the other thread Tom, so I'll only comment here on your new Buck lookalike! It might not be a genuine Buck buddy, but it'll operate just as well! Enjoy! 8)

I got this nice Buck lock back at the flea market today; so it didn't come from the Post Office.
(I hope I don't have to endure those lashes again.)
Some one got a little frisky with a grinder again but It's still in decent shape.
Quite solid and smooth. I had to cough up 10 bucks for this very nice knife.

Finally got the 2009 AAPK club knife, and for less than I was willing to spend to get it. This knife checks all the boxes for me: Favorite pattern, Stockman, wooden handles, ebony, no brass and excellent fit and finish. Has to be one of the best stockman’s I now own in my collection. Sorry if I outbid anyone here on this.
