Thanks geo, Quick, TPK. This is my "Sunday Go To Meetings When There IS No Meeting" (SGTMWTINM) knife. The looks are slowly growing on me. What hooked me was the feel of the wood, it's so soft and silky. Also great grip from the wood grain and I believe better grip than jigged bone when wet. Also warm to the touch unlike something cold like metal, bone, or MOP. And light. Less weight in hand or pocket than my other one in bone.

The Elder

I like the ELDER Ivoryman! I’m carrying one today that is even “elder”
It’s probably around 170 years old based on records, but I could be wrong.

Slipping this old Catt and Barlow in the pocket today . They are 2 of my favorite. They both feel good in the pocket ,and are solid users and that old steel sharpens well .
