Nice Bucks! I recently picked up the 345 Vantage, and have to admit, it's probably one of my favorite one-hand opening folders under $50.

I started today with a Schrade USA 3OT lockback and a Leatherman Squirt P4. Had yard work, and was wearing shorts, and thus needed something pretty lightweight. But, some heavier, and dirty cutting was needed, so I grabbed a Tac-Force EMT knife out of an assortment originally bought for the POS exchange. This is a knife I can trash, and not care about. If I was on duty as an EMT, this would not be a knife I'd buy. Victorinox Rescue Tool or the Eickhorn PRT series would be my first choice since they are designed for extreme use; and the Victorinox can saw through the laminated glass now required in all car windows (not just windscreens) and the Eickhorn great with any gloves. They have belt cutters and window breakers that work great.

A Queen Cutlery #9ACSB Large Stockman with D2 & bone:
Here's a link to a short summary of a very similar belt buckle (aka, my "Talisman") which indicates its use from around 1575 to 1800.

I believe the one I found was imported to the Confederacy from England by blockade runners during the American Civil War, as is discussed here:

Sweet little pattern there. Recently got one myself, and I like it a lot. I thought it was a bit bigger than the 70, but I was wrong. Clip, coping, and pen is the perfect setup.

Old Camillus helped make tin foil dinner fodder while camping at Payette Lake in McCall, Idaho. Niece was very impressed with how this baby cut compared to all the other knives that were there. Fabulous weather and good times on the water, beach, trails and 4 wheelin' in the mountains. While off roading on a peak in the Nez Perce National Forest, we stumbled upon an ICBM missile silo. You come up over a rise at the top of the peak where it flattens out and you find yourself about 75 feet from the nose cone cover. The warning signs say you must stay at least 150 feet away from the perimeter. Too late for that. No fence, no gate, no warning sign, no nothing until you're already in violation of the perimeter warning. Strangest thing I've ever found in the mountains. Some photos for those who weren't there.

Thank you Cody, Tom - mine is Clip, Pen, and Sheepfoot. I have an HSB branded (also a Camillus) that is Clip, Spey, Awl - several variations like many patterns. Ivoryman, looks like a great outing. OH

Iman, what is the model number of your old Camillus? It's not the rare model 16 is it?

Sorry I don't know, would be great if it was a rare one, but with my luck it won't be. How do you tell the model # ? Tang has no # just Camillus over Cutlery over Camillus, NY over USA and Sword Brand on the back side. Where do I look for model #?

Tom--Yes it does.. After a little research before I bought it it was made by empire winsted for a hardware company that was in business from the 1870s to the early 1900s..
