Same here, the 77 Barlow Wharn destroys boxes and easily cuts them down to form smaller ones for shipping. Did a bunch today and the thin stock and sweet grind make it a breeze. This 2015 Collector Knives SFO wharn blade was very thin and came hair popping sharp. It was so thin it easily glides through boxes and in 3 years of user rotation of being my main box cutter, this amazing blade has only needed to touch the stone once, Otherwise I strop it every couple months and it's razor. Also the sweetest action of my GECs and zero movement, and dead center. Love this knife. Thought it was overpriced at $105 in 2015. Turns out it was a bargain, probably worth double or triple that now, even used. GEC rocks.

A small thin blade was needed to clean out the debris in a disc of wood. The center had rotted out in the shape of a mushroom but left behind lots of rot and soft wood. The wood itself was nice and hard walnut.
The knife is an advertising knife with 'NRA' on the blade. Not one I usually carry but nice enough to hang on to for when a skinny shaped blade is needed.

85 Bullet End did all the slicing and spreading for lunch. Licked the spreads off the blade and it was good.

Ivoryman, just read your post and had to chuckle a bit. You must be pretty talented to lick that blade, I'd have a split tongue like a snake if I tried that!

I always though you was supposed to wipe your knife blade on your britches' leg. The things we learn on AAPK!

Well I was raised out in the sticks, way out of town, spent my formative years on farms and construction sites and roaming the woods. Never knew what the right way was on the pocket knife subject. I learned to lick the blade without cutting my tongue when I was about 8. And it was customary to lick the juice, spread, pbutter etc. off the blade AND then wipe it down on the Levi's or the shorts before folding back up. Figured saliva residue was better on the blade than the apple juice or whatever residue was on the blade. And just for kicks I know what things like that do to TPK if he's listening.

Great looking knife Ryan. And I love those Cuties. The only thing better than those (IMHO) are Satsuma oranges. I have a uncle that lives near the Florida / Bama line who has four Satsuma trees, and they usually produce really good. They are a little bigger than a tangerine, but similar skin and construction.

I used my repaired Western Slimline (Formerly a Camper pattern) to cut the caulk between a bank's Night Deposit and the wall. It dulls the blade badly, which is why I do not carry expensive knives to work.
Still, the caulk had to be cut so that I could disassemble and repair that Night Deposit device.

Never did like biting into an apple!

I was always a biter but after using folding knives for apples & pears for awhile now, I think I'm converted. I even like the stains that accrue in HC steel.
