Speaking of beautiful copperlocks, here's the "Copperlock Evolution Stag Set". Don't see a lot of these, but I always really liked it. Probably because I love trappers, copperheads & copperlocks, along with whittlers, cheetahs, folding hunters, congress, etc., etc... Heck, I guess I love'em all.

Q love the handles and the bolsters.

I do love the stags and it seems that Case is making fewer these days (especially in the larger patterns). I have a few "Prime Stags" that I will try to post when I have time to get some pictures.
I sold this red stag set a couple years ago for a pretty good profit, and have had sellers remorse ever since.
Don't think I'll be making that mistake again, anytime soon.

No doubt about me being a stagaholic / addict. And I can totally relate with the sellers remorse...I get a bad case of it every time I look at the photos of all the beautiful stag knives I have owned and sold over the years...I wish I had kept all of them. You can always get more money, but the knives are irreplaceable. I'm now at the point in my collecting that I don't sell any of my stag knives anymore.

Funny how that works. I don't think I've ever regretted selling bone, pearl, or even ivory knives, but when I sell some of my stag, I almost always regret it. Like you, I don't think I'll be parting with many of my stag knives in the future, except for the occasional duplicates, but I'll probably keep most of them as well.

For anyone interested, there are 2 really nice Sambar Stag Medium Stockman for sale in the members store, if i wasn't funds deficient at this point of time i would be all over one.

May not be true Case knives and the pictures aren't great, but I have always loved the stag on the Case Classics.
