Got these two #73 Scouts today, the linerlock has some really ""Fat Stag"" and the slippie is a ""mellow"" brown color___I'm pleased with them both

What a variation of stag we're seeing on the 73's...between Monk and Paul it varies from smooth,Carmel,burnt,deep grooves,no grooves and online you see popcorn to a degree.....somewhat differs from previous releases....I'm liken it...

Thanks Justin. Actually this one is 1095. The most recent runs were 1095 even with the GEC markings/acorn shield. Just to make things confusing of course. Some of the first fixed blades them made (marked with 50 or 60 in the model number?) were stainless though.

Both of those knives are exceptional! It's hard to find elk with that kind of figure, but the sambar stag is incredible! Hope the pile side looks as good!
