German Army Knife, 108mm. Earlier model without the match striker on the saw. Kinda like the Walker, just a bit bigger and with more tools. But it carries just as well.

Saw this on KnifeCenter's knives of the week YouTube video, a SAK Farmer X. Supposedly the "Farmer" denotes a saw blade and the "X" denotes scissors. I have a few of the small keychain Victorinox knives that I use but don't collect, and one Hunter, but I could see a use for this Alox knife pattern in my EDC rotation.

I am ordering one next month. I've long awaited this pattern since it was announced in the fall. Cellidor breaks, very easily. The liners on the 111mm knives bend easily. Alox, slimmer than 91mm, tougher than either 91mm or 111mm. And price-wise, actually a bit cheaper than 111mm. These are the tools I actually use, and I will no longer have to be carrying a smaller SAK (usually 58mm) with scissors (haven't got around to buying the Pioneer X, either). I think for my user SAKs, Alox will be my standard.

My latest SAK. Had my eye on these for a while just because I'd like to see HAWAII some day. There's a few more of these that I like but they always seem to have a low priority on my wish list. I noticed there weren't many more of these HAWAII SAK's on German eBay anymore so I decided to get it while I still can. Thanks for looking!

The more I look at it, the more I like it. The TIKI Totum kind of gets ya. Dang it Tom.......Now I'm thinking that would make a great mirror fob for my truck!

Scored another Mountaineer today for ten bucks.The first one cost me twelve. At this rate of decline I should be getting them free in awhile.

Great score! The big Wengers tend to be on the expensive side (at least for my budget/tastes) when comparing them to their equivalent Victorinox 111mm knives.

Love the clip point blade! Victorinox never has done a modern knife with a clip point main blade, other than the Day Packer, which is just a repackaged grafting knife. Wenger did extensively on the big knives.

It does seem to be a very practical knife as to weight(I prefer lightweight knives)and overall finish seems great.My only problem is it is still a tad big for my pocket and I can't carry anything on a belt loop(very rarely have pants with them).
