Here's a shot of a decal from a large Catt display case at the American Museum of Cutlery.

Here are a couple of CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY COMPANY items that I very recently acquired.
The first item is a CATTARAUGUS DUPLEX RAZOR HONE.
The stone measures 2" X 5 1/2" X 1/2."
The top of the box is pretty worn, but CATTARAUGUS is still visible, barely.
This will display nicely.

Here's the second item.
It's a CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife store display.
I believe the spring was used to hold the pocket knife that was on display, in place.
In this case, it would've been a, according to the label, pattern #23222 pocket knife.
It's in very good condition and it will display nicely.
It measures 2 3/4" X 4 5/8" X 2 3/4."

This arrived today.

30 pages. From October, 1971.

I obtained another CATTARAUGUS CUTLERY COMPANY pocket knife box.

It is stamped W. & H. CO (Whitehead & Hoag Company).
It's 1 1/8" in diameter.

Nice find Skip. Those old boxes are dangerous - now you have to find the knife pattern that came in it!

I have a few boxes that I need
to find the "go with" pocket knife.
It's just another fork in the road of collecting.

This knife has iron bolsters and iron back springs, probably as old as the box.
