You guys certainly have some beauties!
Here's my mist recent, a Rough Ryder cinnamon stag bone stockman.
My only gripe is that the nail nick on the sheeps foot is almost covered by the spay blade.
For those who like, it has half stops.
That's my first car in the pics, a '67 LeMans, the GTO Wanna-Be.

Nice pick-ups, Willie and Steve!

I like the GTOs, too.

Not exactly "new" pickups, as I'e had some of these close to 4 years now. However, they just got serviced by Kershaw.
They all three had really bad sharpening jobs, often compounded by me. Thus, they were BLUNT. Shipped 'em off to Kershaw early in the month, and they did a great job with a correct factory bevel that should be easy to resharpen as-needed.
Scallion was blunt, and showed signs of a previous owner having used a pull-through unit. I had a lot of trouble fixing that mess. The blade was slightly too short, and had to be replaced in order to lock shut with the tip lock (it was already sharpened down heavily, and was barely long enough to lock shut as-is). Thus, it got a new blade, and I had to shell out an extra $25 blade replacement fee on top of the $14 between the USPS flat rate box and return shipping. But, I got essentially a new knife and a Scallion is at least $50.
The blade they replaced it with is completely unmarked and seems to have a slightly different spine profile.
Chive. Blunt and the clip had started to loosen and I'd lost my T6 wrench. Kershaw sharpened it and tightened the clip. Small, but it opens in a flash and does most stuff pretty well. I keep looking at the Launch 5, but this little guy suits me just as well, and is not technically an auto, but opens just as fast.
These two are Japan-made and long out of production. They had issues with worn rubber grips--chewed up on the Chubby and loose on the DWO. I was informed they couldn't replace these bits, but that I'd figured anyway.
Chubby. Blunt from a seller who'd "professionally sharpened it" but had used an angle that was too thin and it blunted within no time. Produced only for Snap On and Craftsman in the early 2000s, it is designed as a work knife. Sturdy, but not too big.
DWO 3000. Again, bad sharpening job from me and previous owner. For most of what I need, it's all I really need for the job.

Great knife with beautiful covers Steve. I'm really liking your souped-up LeMans too, much nicer than any GTO's I've seen.

I like your choice of knives T.F.! Remember, it's not a contest about who has the nicest knives, it's about who truly appreciates the knives they do have, and you do. I know I've seen models that I absolutely loved but couldn't afford, so I look at what I do have and it satisfies me. There will always be something "Bigger and Better"! Great group you posted today, I'm really likin' the Italian Sodbuster!

Thanks for the kind words, Madmarco.
The orange sodbuster has a UNITED stamp. I hadn’t noticed these before. The handle is solid, no spring showing. Don’t know how it works, might be like the Queen Big Chief.

Yes, that's the Pabst Blue Ribbon plate, issued 1981, I had on the Beast. (Discussion about gas mileage came up and I said mine was a real beast on gas. The name stuck.) If you would like, and if your Mom is still sending you care packages, I can mail this one to her to send to you.
The Hot Wheels there is a '67 GTO I painted to match the Beast.

I actually picked up one of these- GEC Northfield UN-X-LD Toe Nail Clipper Knife Blood Red Jigged Bone (North American Cow Bone shield). Put in the only bid and was shocked to learn I won it.
