I love seein these cato! That little Clip main blade shielded pearly is sweet! Monk has my old Bulldog Barlows now that have this long point Clip blade on them. It's great to see the history of a blade.

Here I go again....... bought one I'm not 100% sure of. ::doh::

I think it's a Lakota Knife Co - scrimshaw by "Hiroshi" - but I have no idea what the handle material is.

THis is the GEC #56 in smooth ivory bone that I've been obsessing about for weeks, finally in hand. THe other is a Busse Combat 'Active Duty' with micarta scales, made by hand, and given to me as a gift by my little brother.
A pretty good weekend I must say. :D

kamagong, that is simply amazing!

What type of wood is that? And the steel? And does she have a sister?!

She does indeed have a sister, although the sister is a bit more curvy. The maker kept her for himself.

The blade is forged from round silversteel (Böhler k510) barstock. The wood is curly birch, the traditional handle material of choice for Finnish puukkos.

That thing is sick kama! Here's one Hammer that came in the mail today.
Barlow but had a lot of issues, no snap in either blades, rust thru out the whole thing.
I had no idea it was this bad. It doesn't look that bad in the pic but believe me it sucked!
