A Schrade-Walden #880 Kon-Kav Premium Stock Knife, Texas Pattern with carbon & the prettiest Delrin I've got & for some reason I believe it was made around 1973 to 1975, & a Schrade 30T Old Timer Bearhead with 440C & Delrin from 1986 to 2004:

Is that a 99? Beautiful swell-end jack. ::tu::

Been toting the 40 for the last couple days. I understand the affinity for the mini-T, the backpocket, the slender 48 and even the traditionalist 54. But my favorite Case trapper pattern is the dogleg 40. Bigger than most but still pocketable, big Bowie-style clip, and the flared spey makes a great spreader - it effortlessly covered my breakfast and lunch bread products for the last two days. Threw in a Boker-made Russell one-armed Barlow and a CFK bushcrafter for today.

Tsar, you have a good eye. "This version is a regular jack knife that some call a swell end or tear-drop Jack that measures 4″ closed. Case has produced this knife with both a spear master blade as well as a clip master blade. The other blade has always been a pen blade as far as I know. When the master is a clip, the pattern number is usually followed by a 1/2 (when there is a pattern number). Case introduced them sometime prior to 1940."

This one has the 1/2 since it carries the clip blade rather than the spear. 32991/2. I don't know when this one was made. Maybe in the late 90s.

I find myself impressed with this particular Case. Excellent walk and talk, half stops, and very good F&F.

Very nice! The "Team Hot Wheels" livery looks great, and I have a few cars in it (and I could've sworn I had that dragester you show, but nope). HW's done that as a series for many years. I have two that use the same chassis, an older gen Firebird from the late '80s I picked up at the flea market, as well as a Mustang Mach 1 from 4-5 years ago. They used that basic chassis for many different cars. You hardly ever see those funny car toolings in use, I guess due to being all metal. I'm sure if they switched to plastic, as they have done countless other toolings, it would break off the metal chassis.

This one's a lot older, a casting called the "Fuel Dragster". It was released in 1970 as a part of a Snake and Mongoose track set. We leased a farm that adjoined ours, and near the entrance of an old shed, I found a box of beat up old toys. Most were trash, but in the bottom were a few Hot Wheels cars. The blue "Snake" that came in this set was also in there, but I left it behind, as I didn't realize how common reproduction parts that I could've used to fix it up were. Someone eventually got ahold of that one before I got back to it.

While mostly complete, it is missing a parachute, the clip that held the chute, as well as a small set of wheels that clips into the counterweight at the back that allows the car to wheelie. Plastic is in good shape, which surprises me due to being exposed to the elements for 40 years before I got it. Decals and all the missing parts are easily found as reproduction replacements.

Weekend on the Oregon Coast and the weather and food and company were fabulous. As was the edge this Old Timer has. I skinned some tomatoes and cut and sliced and diced and used it a lot. Hope you like the pics, especially all you from the East who might not see it otherwise. I always like seeing the pics of places I never see from others so here's a few.

Great shots Homer, thanks so much, love seeing other places I never go. Where would this be? The lighthouse we go to was still closed due to the plague so we didn't get to go up to it or get near enough for a good shot. But great shots you have and thanks, fun to see stuff like that. Mine are from Otter Rock State Park, Yaquina Head and the tide pools are next to Devils Punch Bowl state park.
