It was an Air Force survival knife. Originally it also had a saw blade also but that was snapped off before I bought it.
Glennbadd removed the broken blade for me and I installed the Camel bone handles.
The knife is just over 6" long closed and 1 1/8 wide!

Royal0014, that Imperial is awesome. I just picked one up a couple of days ago for my son. It has a very unusual tang stamp. Looks like a miss-strike.

With the curve to the left and the offset bolster, might that not be an example of the Wharncliffe pattern (not blade profile)?

Sultan of Schrades? That's funny, but not really given all the serious Schrade collectors around here, but I got a good laugh out of it.
But on a more serious note, I think you just put up the prettiest Parker Barlow I've ever seen. Great bolster scrolling and the covers, wow, great grain and color. Fabulous really. Cool etch too.

Funny you mention missing your shield on the same knife as mine.
Every once in a while, while watching TV in my recliner, I'll pull out my knife and just fidget with it.
Yesterday evening I took that knife out and the shield was gone! Fortunately I was able to fish it out of my pocket.
A spot of Gorilla Glue gel and popped it back in place. Hopefully it will stay put!
