I encountered these two pileated woodpeckers recently. They were so interested in one another they seemed oblivious to my presence.

I also encountered some Ibis. At least I think that's what they are.

Great photos Phil. Love the double Woodpeckers. Yes, those are White Ibis. Cameras sometimes distort colors. So, if the bill and legs are definitely red, then they were adults. If the legs and bill are more pink, then they are sub-adult; possibly some brown spots.

The downward curved bill immediately separates it from Cattle Egrets. Saw hundreds of those working over the cane fields on Oahu.

Philco,
If I had to guess, I’d say the Pileated Woodpeckers were on palm tree trunk. ::hmm::
Agreed those white ones are Ibises'.
Great pictures! ::tu::

JP, You have a very fine looking covered deck overlooking a lovely expanse of yard.

Nothing special, just the constant barrage of sparrows. At least it is amusing to watch them bicker for a perch on the feeder

Boji, the Sparrows are a blast to watch. Thank you for a view of your feeder, looks busy ::nod::

Phil, you're correct about them being on a palm tree trunk. I took these photos while on a golf course on Sanibel Island last week. I was riding shotgun while my son in law played a round of golf.

Fabulous pics Koldgold and Philco, you to Boji. Wow.

My blue jay buddy was totally ambivalent about my sweet old Kutmaster. But he kept coming back for more peanuts.

I hardly ever see Blue Jays, once in a while in the winter.
I had a wide variety of feathered friends this afternoon. The normal sparrows, Orioles, Hummingbirds and a lone chickadee, a bunch of nuthatches and this one. I assume a female goldfinch. Smaller than a sparrow and bigger than a hummer. Kept hoping the male would show up but never did.
She first partook of the hummer juice and really liked the jelly dish.

Boji, I was hoping someone would chime in with a guess. Since they haven't, I will take a stab at it. I am pretty sure it isn't a f Goldfinch. The streaked sides narrows it down some. I don't think it has enough color to be a Yellow Warbler. Therefore, considering the streaks and the yellowish sides, I think it may be one of the many variations found in the coloration of the Yellow Rumpled Warblers. ::shrug::
