Does my ole heart and eyes good to see some of your fine toters.
Always a pleasure and a treat to read your posts and comments and you're only too kind to mention. Thanks as always.
Ivoryman, I like Easy Open knives & I really like that Easy Open.

Yes it is, Gary.
I didn't bother to look for other stamps at first but there it is.
Thanks for asking.
I bought this knife from a Smokey Mountain Knife Works catalog in the late eighties.
Looks like a fine piece of Cutlery! ::tu:: :D

I carried a case slimline trapper for the last 15 years but I lost it while coyote hunting a few months ago. I have two more but they are still wrapped in paper from 1985. Now I’m carrying a 194OT I picked up a few days ago

I carried a Benchmade Valet for after work activities. With a small 3" blade it did not offend anyone.
It got lost. I did without until now. I got the pandemic stimulus check about the same time ebay had an active bid going on a gold class Valet. I bid for week and purchased it for under $500.
Blue/purple Titanium scales and a Damasteel blade. This is my first knife with Damasteel. I am very impressed with the edge it takes, it snags the arm hairs without the blade touching the skin. This is only the third knife ever owned that would take freestanding hairs.

The knife carried depends on dress. Carhartts have a pocket for the big folder, then smaller for jeans, and eventually a sleek smooth folder for snug fitting slacks. The Valet is in the middle for all purpose.

Always a fan of GEC's oily creek bone. The only thing that put me off the swell-end jack was the TIDIOUTE shield. I had been hoping for a filled-in wrench like the one on the oil sucker rod wood variant.

I've been taking photos the last several days even if I don't have the time to post every day. These are the knives I carried each day Sunday-Tuesday. I'll have a picture of today's totes later on in the day.

The morning image from the satellite is all blue and green
And we've all got wounds to clean
Here's a rag, here's some gasoline

She wakes up fine and rested well, released at last from in the sleeping cell
Breathing comes with ease, it's a sweet revenge
Built on a chemical ride, my medicine man is the best
Wires to the temples, lace them on, let's see how we sound

It's all green to me
What a sweet revenge
It's all green to me

I see them lift off one by one, I see a cool spot here, let's bring her down
Level to the ground, a lovely mess, that I am blessed to see, of me, of me
She lifts her wings up high, sends her shrill of a lifetime until we die
And all the dreams, details affected in the colored sky

The morning image from the satellite is all blue and green
And we've all got wounds to clean
Here's a rag, here's some gasoline

It's all green to me
(Lift up your skies and all the other times you realize)
It's all green to me
(It lifts up your days in a single phase, I felt your hand)
It's all green to me
(Lift up your skies and all the other times you realize)
It's all green to me
(It lifts up your days in a single phase)

I've actually carried my Leek and Chive together. Not a bad combo at all. And, besides, in my watch pocket is a 3" lockback in most cases.

My folks and I have had two days of fencing work to do thanks to an idiot trespassing, riding it down, and cutting it trying to get their own livestock on the property (on purpose!); so I went overboard, and fully accounted for the Murphy's Law variable.

The big 10-inch Klein linesman's pliers did the heavy-duty work. They cut a lot more than most do, and are very, very strong. Heavy enough to serve as an impromptu hammer; and pull your pants down unless your belt's on good.

The smaller, roughly 6 1/4" (160mm) Knipex are not only good EDC pliers, but about all that will fit between staves when placing T-Post clips, or wiring them into place. The 125mm Cobras go good with them, but left them at home because they are expensive to replace at about $40--these pliers, about $15. They are one of their cheaper pliers. I prefer the European "combination/engineer" over the typical "New England Lineman Plier" due to the gripping channels for bolts.

CRKT M16-10KZ was the folder. The serrations helped me cut through some blackberry briars that were making the job a lot harder. It isn't very good with gloves; just learned that today. I may try a full-size model. Being only $30, and one of the knife selections at my local Lowe's, it's an "Easy to find, cheap to replace; good enough to where I don't mind using it" knife that meets my work tool requirements.

My SwissTool is perfect for fencing and most other hard work. The somewhat rounded "chain nose" pliers are plenty strong, and grip fencing wire with no trouble. The metal saw makes quick work of stuff the wire cutters cannot shear (like nails or screws).

In its sheath (Leatherman MOLLE XL; which actually can fit on a belt) is a tool steel PocketWrench II (handles pretty much any bolt 9/16 or under pretty well) and a titanium pry bar.

In my watch pocket are an Irish Imperial Apex Barlow and an Olight i3EOS flashlight. The Barlow handles the smaller cutting tasks, while the flashlight is something I always carry anyway.
