Good morning knife brothers and sisters. I carry one knife on my belt and another in the pocket.

I acquired the great old Schrade Walden 225H a couple of years ago from a fellow knife enthusiast in Connecticut, USA. I know from reading the extensive research files created by Dale Orvet that the 225H was produced from 1957 to 1975, and the Walden name was removed in 1973. Would anyone know what specific years these Herter's promotion knives were produced?

The Premier Lifetime pocket knives were readily available on the north side of the 49th parallel when I was a boy, and I believe they offered the buyer a high quality product for a reasonable price. I remember them well, from the hours spent admiring them in the local hardware store cabinets. I couldn't afford to buy them at the time, but I do love to collect and use them now.

And I really like your #49 DM. I carry mine often, but yours is a way nicer example .
