That is a good find, and it looks like an early 8 OT - Pre 1965.
This is the last of the 8 OTs, they came in a display tin ...
Schrade also made an 8 OT knife for Belknap Hardware, in the late 60's and early 70's.
That knife was called the "John Primbel - Old Timer 935" ... Ken

Koldgold, that is a real beauty!
I just received a tiny little Schrade stockman. It is 2 3/4" closed, the posted description said it was bone handled which I didn't feel was correct when looking at the pictures. It is,as I suspected Delrin but still a decent little used knife that needs cleaning. The tang on the little clip blade is stamped SCHRADE over USA 808.

Very cool finds gentlemen!
My latest Schrade find is this little LB1. Used but in pretty good condition. Has some slight side to side blade wobble but nothing that I can't ignore.

Needs sharpening.
I would like to find myself an LB3 EDC some day. I must be patient I guess.

I'm not very good at being patient.

Open her up and let's see the tang stamp.
My first guess would be late 70's - early 80's.
THAT is a NICE looking knife!!

1972 to 1997. If made before summer of 1973 it will have the word Walden in the tang stamp.

Can anyone tell me what this “knife” is used for? I can’t find it in any books.

Nice find.
Dale Vincent lists the Schrade 194 OT, as sold from 1976-2004.
Schrade's 2003 - 2004 Products Guide, shows the 194 OT on the Old Timer page... Ken

Added this one to my Schrade family over the weekend. A Schrade U.S.A. Stainless MM897 Master Mechanic 3-9/16" Stockman. Blades have no wobble, great snap, but does show some use, but are full and not abused. From what I've read, this was produced for True Value Hardware from sometime in the mid 1980's into the '90's.

SWEET find!
I wasn't aware that Schrade put the Master Mechanic brand on the Uncle Henry format.
(I am just stuck in Old Timer mode I guess.....LOL)
