I've just got a German Eye Brand Medium Congress & a Boker Tree Brand #280B Whittler, both with carbon & jigged bone. I like the steel in both. They get really sharp, really easy, even for me:

As for the wooden nickels, I was only one in 1963. That's a complete set of commemorative nickels for the town's bicentennial. I'm kind of curious about their current value.
