I have that OT carver. Hardly ever comes off the shelf. Looked like the ticket but I prefer a stockman in my hand. Still looking for a whittler. Very nice Congress!

Many Buck enthusiasts feel the same way about the sheaths Buck has been using in recent years, and yes they ride too high and are uncomfortable to wear, pretty much a universal opinion. I have bought a few old school low hanging sheaths for both 110 & 112 online, instead of using the newer sheaths. I really wish Buck would get a clue and return to the more popular and usable older style sheath.

I heard that last night NYC lit up the Empire State Building in red to honor the first responders.
Thought I would follow suit.

Went with a couple of Remington's at work today.

Today Kershaw 1885. Hefty, stout, twenty dollar one-hander. Works for me.

I've been treating hemlocks for woolly adelgids & green ash trees for emerald ash borers. I don't like using the chemicals but I'd hate to loose the trees. I'm trying to save around 50 hemlocks & three ash trees that can be seen from the house. But I am enjoying an older Boker Tree Brand #280B Whittler with carbon & bone & a 1970s German Eye Brand Medium Stockman with SS & bone:

I don't dare visit my parents because my dad has very bad lungs but as soon as I can I'm going for my Hot Wheels. I haven't thought about them for 30 years, time to get them out again. Thanks for giving me a smile every day! Also my wife is a nurse and oldest son a firefighter, second oldest Iowa National Guard and I greatly appreciate the honor.

I see Chris already told you, but yes it's a Ruger by cricket. Flips open nicely on bearings, no spring needed.
