This knife has a few warts, but still fairly uncommon. The bad - front handle has hairline and small patch, and the punch is short. The good - the remainder of the blades are full, and the punch has a functioning liner lock. The Master blade is stamped FORGED USA, and most of the etch is faint but readable - CRAFTSMAN HAMMER FORGED and 9468 (I can't make out the word above the pattern number). I am guessing Camillus as the maker, but I defer to you Scout/Utility experts.

Unusual example in that it appears to have the same master blade as the Ulster Mountain knife rather than the usual spear master. Knice!

Great examples KJ. Knives like this are only getting harder to find.

Here are these two scout knives. A Camillus and an Ulster.

I consider this minty Camillus one of my better Scouts.

I love looking at all these Scout knives. There are so many beautiful examples!

This Remington official that I am sharing is not unique: I have seen others like it on this thread.
But I love it because of who carried it.
This knife once belonged to my Great-Grandfather. I didn’t know the man since he passed away years before I was born, but I have seen the tremendous influence that he had on my Dad.
My Dad was abandoned by his father when he was very young, and along with his mother and sister they went to live with his Grandfather.
His Grandfather was a poor farmer, but he helped to raise my Dad into one of the most loving, hard-working, and honorable men this world has seen.
My Dad passed this knife down to me, and I hope to pass it down to my son someday. And I pray that I can raise him to be more like his Grandpa!

I have never seen a folding knife with a liner lock for the awl except for the Sears knife shown, last post previous page.
By 1941 Albert Baer owned Ulster & Camillus. Work & parts were shared to make for maximum efficiency, so some of these knives are 'half breeds', neither pure Camillus nor pure Ulster.

Cub Scout knives all have liner locks on the punch blade .

Oppps, i forgot about the Camillus Cub Scout knife of which i used to have a few. Thank you for the correction. I expect to need more help as time goes by.

I like smooth covers which makes me particularly fond of this 31/4 in. Imperial scout type knife.Tight with decent snap.

Fantastic knife and even better story.

Not in the best of condition but it’s the first one I have come across .
Rare early variation of the Ulster 2 blade official scout .
Most likely made in the mid 1920s .

Thank you Dimitri and Phil , official scout blades show several versions of this two blade Ulster so I knew it existed , just took me 25 years to find one
