Thank you Ralph. However, I think you've done more than
watch some of those nice Northwoods' models.
Come on now, bust out that folding Hunter over here, my friend.

This Rodgers has such even textured stag, I thought it was bone-stag when I bought it, but the markings are natural, not machine-cut! (thanks BRL)
It's STAG; yahoo!!

boy that is some even textured stag! Nice blades too. I wonder why the master blade isn't polished and the pen blade is?

Darn nice knife. The Warncliffe Whittler pattern is becoming a favorite of mine along with the Barlow. I find the Warncliffe blade to be very useful to me. I picked up 3 Case Warncliffe trappers, all different lengths. Something I will be playing with in the next few weeks and draw up a few ideas (that's so I don't forget

).

It must be the lights glaring in the scanner, MM. All blade sides have a glazed finish; not quite crocus.

Nice burst of blades, err Burstman!
You positively know how to pose those puppies.

Ok, ok...LOL..Now I have to go listen to the Dire Straits song about a 6 blade knife while looking up the definition of alliterative...
I never knew knife collecting was so tedious..
Thanks guys..

Why not resurrect a worthwhile thread?

Plus the mention of Dire Straits is a great seqway. Here's a Dirk Potgieter ( Oupa ) beauty, complete with sheath:
