I only have 2 fixed blades.

First up is a AC Warren custom knife with ossik handle. Just a beautiful knife in every respect. Mr. Warren's work is still reasonably priced for the quality of the work.

And of course there is the always present trusty old Buck 102 that I have had since the late 1960's.

I really like that Warren as well - nice heavy guard, and the handle looks like it has you leaning into the cut. Looks like it would have some very good handling properties.

Oh yeah, and it's beautiful!

I've never tried using a fixed blade knife with that much drop in the handle as it relates to the blade. How is it working for you so far ?

Most folks I know aren't too interested in the leather handled fixed blades, but I find them interesting because of all the different spacer variations. The use of brass and bone make for nice looking handles imo, Tim

Leather handles on fixed blades don't sell as well or for as much as other materials but I too like them and prefer them.

I am not much for buying "modern" knives fixed blade or pocket.

However I do like anything unusual, and this Browning fits the bill. It is a very stout fixed blade knife, the blade is razor sharp! The unusual thing about it is that hidden inside the handle is a nice folding pocket knife! ::uc:: ::nod:: ::woot::

I just had to buy this one when I seen it, it was part of a salesman`s collection of Browning knives.

Didn't realize this forum existed. I love fixed blades.
I'm more of a user than a collector but here's mine (well, most of em).

My oldest and favorite for big game is this old Estwing that was gifted to me back in high school.

And a couple of old Buck work horses that have seen their fair share of blood.
Image
Image

Not fancy but this little Russel woodswalker is about the handiest knife ever after I trimmed the wallet sized sheath down to fit in the tool pocket in my carpenter pants.
Image
Image

My beloved little Northwoods B&T, it's about all I carry since I quit hunting big game.
Image

Honorable mention to the Grohmann B&T my daughter sent me for fathers day.
It's a nice little knife, but I doubt it'll ever replace the NW with it's good ol 1095 steel.
