Thanks to you I own a Kershaw knife, remember? I have not used it yet but I will real soon

I like changing them up on a regular basis, keep `em guessing

Uh, now I do. Dimitri, sometimes I can't remember what day it is. That's why I have the atomic clock sitting close at hand.

Don`t feel bad Jerry, I had to buy one of those pill containers that keeps track of what day it is because I kept forgetting if I took a pill that day or not

I use the ones with S(unday) through S(atarday) on the top and still forget occasionally.

Fortunately the drugs are not that critical so a day missed is not life threatening.

My latest Buck is a 6th Version, 2nd Variation 110.
"Why?," you ask?...
Mainly because I can't resist these old classics, when priced right -& this is my first "early" 110. It's stained but the brass is undamaged. It has been sharpened, but not excessively. No dents, gouges, or dings; an excellent candidate for buffing up.

Thanks, Garddogg!... I think she will, too. Now, I have a .110. to match my .112.
I've begun to lightly clean the blade & bolsters, but I think I'm going to send her to the "Spa" today. I have the address; I can't recall the cost per knife, though.
(Anyone have the current cost figures, please?)
This baby's got
HEFT!
This is certainly no pocket knife!
Now, I need to find a correct sheath... I'd be willing to buy or trade for it. So, please PM me, anyone who would like to do a deal.

Nice Randy!
Bill, the current leather sheaths fit fine - if you want original from the two dot era you are going to have to get lucky. I THINK (not sure) is that seven dollars buys a spa treatment - nice 110. OH

Randy,
That's a true work of art!
I'm not familiar with that model but it looks like it would fit the hand very ergonomically.
And thanks, OH!
My records show I paid $20.85 for two knives to be cleaned up and sharpened, the last time. So, maybe $7 x 2 knives plus $6.85 to ship (?).
I think that sounds correct.

Stopped in Wal-Mart after lunch today to pick up a few items and got carried away. This 721 Slimline followed me home and there wasn't anything I could do about it. The 721 Slimline is the Wal-Mart version of the 722 Spitfire. Same knife, different number for Wally World and yes, Made In USA.
At 4½" closed with anodized aluminum handles, this knife weighs in at 2.9 oz. It feels very substantial in your hand. The blade is 3¼" of concave ground, drop point, 420HC stainless steel. The handles are drilled and threaded for four position carry. Tip up/tip down right hand carry or tip up/tip down left hand carry. I already have an orange 422 Spitfire so this time I got green. It comes in one more color, gray.

GREEN IS GOOD!
Bill & Hunter, Thanks. I sorta like the modern look, especially the grind of the blade with the handle. I'm not a sheath guy, so I'll see what it's like in my pocket. Might use it as trading fodder at a local knife show at the end of April.
Have a good weekend!

Stopped in Wally World today to pick up some cereal and I should have stayed away from the sporting goods dept. but I didn't. I didn't have the Buck 721 (722 Buck #) in Gray but now I do.

Thanks Colonel. I have all three colors now. Buck calls it a 722 but the one they make for Walmart, they call a 721. Same exact knife.

If I were a true collector, I would get all three colors from both sources.
You can pick one up at Wally-World for $29.9x and it's made in the USA. Nice knife. You might also like to give a Buck 297 Sirus a try. A bit more money but it's Assisted Opening. There's a whole new world out there awaiting you and it's just full of sharp edges of all kinds.
