I hate posting my knives on these threads. Why ,you say?

Because ,I always find some little flaw on the close-up I never saw before.

Nice knife. Pretty swing guard. My favorite type of knife.

Here is a CASE TESTED 551. Liner lock can be seen well in the middle pic. Bottom pic is knife closed. I have the sheath also but no pic. It will be my son's one day as I bought it for him. In the meantime, I really enjoy this knife.

Jerry, seems I'm in the same boat with you; don't consider myself to be a super lockback fan, but I do seem to keep ending up with more of them. I've acquired these since I last posted on this thread in late May. OH

Jerry, another little tidbit of trivia about these Bucklites; look at the picture of the Buck 422+ in my first post (same knife as the orange one but with black handles). Buck had a different model number on the Bucklite handled versions for a number of years, but sometime between 1991, when the black handled one was made, and 2000 when the orange handled one was made, Buck began striking the blade with the 112 model designation - I guess that was so they didn't have to inventory the same blade under two different model numbers. OH

biggdogg -- I think it's now safe to be out of my fighting hole. I've even stopped wearing my steel pot & flak jacket.


Colonel -- Thanks for the information. It's amazing what you can pick up here at AAPK if you just hang around long enough. January's budget is full so I'm seriously considering putting an orange 112 in my February budget.

Some really cool knives getting put in here.

This is one of the best knives I own. It's Canal Street Mop swinguard. I think they only made 25 of them. The other swinguard is a bone handled Kabar Dogshead. I've posted these on this forum before but I love the chance to do it again. I hope you like them
