Floyd great find, but that is one of the craziest knives I've seen in a while and you found that one in the water too, amazing!doglegg wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 1:40 pm It must be Barrett Tool season. Looks good David.dlr110 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 12:03 am I ordered this Brother 1502G Lockback over a month ago and it just got here today.
It wasn't the USPS that was slow, it was actually on that slow boat from China. The knife is tight and solid. Zero movement from the blade when open. All seams are perfectly matched. The black linen Micarta handles are very smooth so you need to make sure you have a good grip on the knife. Very sharp edge....shaveable. Is that a word? My only concern is the hard plastic red spacers that serve as the liners. Will it stand the test of time and use....???
I think shaveable is a valid word David, although when I type it in my PC gives it the red lines underneath to indicate it's a misspelling, who knows, I like it. I've waited a number of times for that boat from China, but that anxiety has always been replaced with joy when my package actually arrives. I don't know if the red liners on your knife will hold up, sure hope so, but it's too bad you didn't notice the exact same knife for about $2. more with brass liners. Nevertheless, it's a very nice knife for a decent price. Congrats!dlr110 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 12:03 am I ordered this Brother 1502G Lockback over a month ago and it just got here today.

Still a very good looking knife.
Great score Smitty!Papa Bones wrote: ↑Sat Sep 18, 2021 1:21 am I received a few this week. Took time today to post them. First one I picked up from Scott aka TripleF. A Uncle Henry Schrade + LB5. Great blade, no wobble, positive lock, and good snap . Added it to my other wood handle EDC group. Picked it up along with a Craftsman automotive inspection mirror. Both have already been put to use. Thanks Scott.

Next I fished this one off the Bay. A Schrade Walden 219 3-1/8" Serpentine Jack. Schrade Walden N.Y. U.S.A. tang stamp (pre 1973) , Schrade Shield, with Clip master and pen secondary blade. Very little use, full blades and great snap. A nice little addition to my Schrade Walden Family.

Next, to go with my Craftsman Family, a Craftsman 9470 4 inch closed Stock Knife. This one was made by Ulster for sears. It has the Red jigged composite handles. It has the oval Craftsman shield without the Crown. It has the Craftsman USA tang stamp with the model number which puts this knife around 1960 or '61. Blades are full, have staining & scratches but are not pitted. All blades are tight, no wobble, and have excellent snap.

Lastly, another Camillus to add to my Steelie Knives. A Double line Camillus Tang Stamp single clip blade WHAT-A-knife. Stainless Steel build throughout, Blade has very little use excellent snap with positive half stop. Don't know why, but I love those Camillus Steelies.
