Great knives, everyone! Mike, that is a jaw-dropping haul. Congrats!
Here are a few that came in the mail recently. All were either made by or imported by New Jersey-based companies.
1. Rex Cutlery Corp whittler. c. 1945-1946. Dealt mainly in scissors, quite hard to find a knife with this stamp. Based in Irvington, NJ, this company imported knives from Germany. Used "JOY" as their trademark.
2. Otto & Sons spey knife. Very rare. Most likely made in Jersey City. c. 1880s to early 1900s.
3. F. G. Busse manicure knife. Based in Vineland, NJ, the company imported knives from Germany. Probably dates from the 1940s to the 1960s.
4. O. S. T. Cutlery Co. jack. c. 1906-1914. Made in Newark. It's difficult to see in the pictures, but it has the faint remnants of an "O. S. T." blade etch.
5. American Ace easy-open jack. c. 1919-1920. Made in Newark. This is the only American Ace I've ever seen with bone handles. Most are celluloid.

Tim, I think that might be my favorite out of the bunch. I go crazy for any blade with a swedge like that.

EDIT
Have not been able to find much info on this knife. Goins' dosen't list this tang stamp. In a book by Lavona Ferguson (1978) I found a picture and a number (no marking reverse tang) 033750. Anyone have any more info?
Bill,
There is a Robeson that looks like that on ebay now.

That metal handled Robeson stockman cannot be dated by the tang stamp. The stamp itself is an early one, but the knives date from the late 1950's to 1965. Why they ressurrected an old stamp for the knives I have no idea.
They made the knife with the metal handles and with black plastic handles. The knives are cheaply made, as Robeso was trying to reduce costs, increase profits and save them selves from imminent bankruptcy. They failed.
Some advertise the metal handled knife as aluminum, but I've seen advertising placards of the time touting them as nickel-silver.
You have one of the nicest ones I've seen.
They do not command a great deal of money, but they'd make a great EDC.

Good-looking knife, cato.
Jeff, that's a nice group of stockmans you have there. I really like the appaloosa bone on that one.

Thanks for the listing information. Not much interest in the knives in this auction, as his starting bid is too high. (imo)

Thanks Charlie
I think the handles and liner are aluminum, as the knife is very light.
The Ferguson book states it is nickle silver, and that would fit with the Robeson numbering system.
I would turn a shaving off the backside of the center liner and ask a metalurgist at work to look at it, but the knife is too nice to whittle on. I will show him the knife and see what he says.

dogg - I need to go to the flea market with you. What a great find.
This showed up in the mailbox today. Got it for my son-in-law's birthday. It has the frame lock. That's a first for me. Interesting. I love these Leeks. I can't imagine him not liking it.

Me too, expecially the Leeks. I have to keep them locked away or I would wear them out playing with them.

This "Spyderco Native" with Faux Damascus arrived today:

Yes of course it came from China.
Kind of rough to open. Probably take it apart and polish the heck out of it.
Needed but a swipe on a ceramic stick and paper trembles!

You know those sneaky Chinese. Even though it says Spyderco Native right on the scales it is a clone. No more no less.
